For what use? How do you like your ride?Would Bilstein or Eibach be best.
Mainly on road. I tow a small rv with it quite often. Have Timbren bump stops. They help. OE shocks are weeping. Time for them to go.For what use? How do you like your ride?
Bilstein are firm too. Are Eibach firmer? Are the both digressive ?Bilstein is the more popular choice. Eibach tend to run on the stiffer
Maybe but I only have experience with Bilsteins. I know @ShadowsPapa ran some Eibach's on his Overlands and was not happy with them. Heard it also with a few others. Are Eibach firmer?
I felt the road "imperfections" more harshly.Maybe but I only have experience with Bilsteins. I know @ShadowsPapa ran some Eibach's on his Overlands and was not happy with them. Heard it also with a few others.
Close to thirty. Just tow 4000 lbs sometimes and it has traded shocks! Need a step above OEM. Good idea though.Bilstein is the more popular choice. Eibach tend to run on the stiffer side. "Best" is very subjective as everybody perceives ride quality a bit different.
How many miles on the stock shocks? Can usually pick up minty OEM take offs on FB marketplace for easily in the $100 range or so.
OEM's are hit or miss. I installed a set of like new take off OEM Diesel Rubicon shocks and have been happy with them so far. Have a set of Bilsteins 5100's on the shelf but will probably run the OEM take off's until whenever they wear out as I do like the ride with them.Close to thirty. I’m looking at the 5100’s.Bilstein 5100 is the answer…![]()
Looked at OEM. Just no luck with those. I’m lucky to get 30000 out of them.OEM's are hit or miss. Well, it is a sample of one, but I get where the feeling is coming from.Looked at OEM. Just no luck with those. I’m lucky to get 30000 out of them.
