Old news but if you really want portal axles, get a hmmwv from GSA. Great vehicles off road but shit to drive otherwise. For half the cost of a set for the jeep you could have a turnkey (err lever). Plus, you really can beat them to shit without regard. The width is a bit much though for tight stuff.
