Why did you buy your Gladiator?

Gave up a tundra for my jku then jeep came out with the gladiator, needless to say I traded in the jku for the gladiator. Best of both worlds.

Wife was still rocking her 2001 Toyota 4Runner LTD. We kept it in pristine shape. A few years ago, she commented she'd really like a lifted Jeep, but hated the idea of losing the ability to haul stuff (dogs, luggage, etc). 3 weeks ago, I took her to look for a replacement, we saw the JT on display, took it for a test drive and bought it on the spot. Before it even had 11 miles on it, lifted it, tires/wheels and shocks. Two days after taking possession, hard fold tonneau cover and the mods keep coming! She loves it!

My Grandad, a Nevada Horse rancher, had a Willys Jeep 4x4 Pickup that could go anywhere, and do anything, anyplace on the ranch. Now that I have my own Horse ranch in the mountains of northern New Mexico... I have wished, for years, for a 4wheel pickup, as nimble, and as capable, as that Willys Jeep Truck was! Now I’ve got one, sitting in the Railyard in Toledo, waiting to be shipped. Pics are my Grandads truck, and my truck that’s on the way! ;{

Why? I’ve been thinking about getting a convertible. I’ve also thought having a truck might be handy. So, the idea of a topless truck was too much. LOL! Besides, my daughter thinks it’s ugly, so being a good mom I am tormenting her.

I bought my Gladiator because:

I ordered a Gladiator because:

• I had a beater '78 CJ-5 my junior year of high school in 1986 & enjoyed having it.
  
• I had a brand new '97 Wrangler in 1996 & enjoyed having it.
• I put a big 5-0 on my birthday cake this year. Gladiator released, I enjoyed test driving them therefore I ordered one.

I have a 2019 Limited F-250 that will do all the heavy lifting. I’ve also had it on a road trip being towed behind my diesel pusher.
The Gladiator will get mixed into the rotation as a toy. It’s going in for its lift and tires etc. tomorrow.
It’ll will be the go to vehicle behind the RV. We go to Colorado a lot. Much rather have the JT then the Big Truck.
The boat is a little too much for the Gladiator that’s one reason I must have the Ford also.
At least that’s what I told my wife.

I have wanted a Gladiator since I first laid my eyes on the very first concept Jeep Gladiator in 2005. I am retired and do a lot of hunting. I was driving a Tundra prior to buying the Gladiator. My first jeep was a 1954 Willys which I still have but is currently stored. I have owned 8 different Jeeps to include my 2011 Grand Cherokee. "IT IS A JEEP THING!"

This is my second M235, what a boat!
My lake is full of G-23’s, they all surf 5’ behind their boat. My kids are about 15’ behind mine. We’ve had fun with the Bu after having several MasterCraft’s. All the boats in that price range are nice but the Malibu just checked off all the right boxes for us.

I've been a Jeep guy all my life, having owned a CJ-7, 2 TJ's, an XJ, an MJ, 2 LJs and 2 JKUs (spoiler alert, I have a car problem). I finally got to needing/wanting a truck for stuff around the house and such so I jumped to the Tacoma in 2017. Bought an LJ earlier this year and enjoyed driving it some, but it's not a daily and I missed having the daily of the Jeep, so here I am in a Gladiator.

Have a CJ2A, wanted a Jeep truck for years, now I have one— the Gladiator Sport S. It replaces a Dakota Sport I had when the Jeep truck was unavailable for the last 30-odd years.
