I can deal with the temps in Ohio; its the F'n rain I cannot stand. This place is worse than Washington's rain forests.
So you have never been to Washington's rain forests;) So so moist.

This time a year what kills me is that if it isn't raining there is a ton of salt on the roads. I don't need the salt eating my truck from the inside out also. I need dry salt free days to get naked. Temps be dam.

Seems to me the Ohio Valley region has been seeing rain for about three solid years.

Absolutely! I’m pretty sure we’ve had a record few years for rain.

My last summer in Ohio it rained for something like 45-50 out of 60 days. I still don't get how we had that much rain in one year. Two years in a row we lost power at the family reunion in June due to freak storms and power outages. That rain can be something else...

Hey, we here in the South may have warmer weather but there's a lot of rain that comes with it. 80 degrees in the pouring rain. Still can't take the top and doors off. South Carolina has had a record rain season this year. And remember, the southeast has a hurricane season. Lol

Maryland hasn't been any better. Tons of record breaking rain and dreary days. I moved here from Portland Oregon and yeah sometimes I feel like I'm back in Portland except without all the great breweries and festivals and mass transit and bicycle paths.

Owning my first Jeep has my wife and I wanting to move to Utah pretty darn bad. But holy crap property is expensive out there.

Amen on the rain and dreary weather lately but come to Frederick, can’t swing a dead cat without hitting half a dozen good breweries. You’re welcome anytime. PM me..

So true, glad I only got the soft top for this so I can quickly go topless during the limited times on those rainy days. Just really wish the aftermarket would hurry up and come out with fully convertible doors. I have already come to terms with the fact that I will probably end up having to rip out my carpet by the end of the summer though.

It could be worse, by law in PA we aren't even allowed to go doorless. There have been proposals to change the law few times but never gets to the point where it gets voted on. Both the governor and lieutenant governor are Jeep owners.
...and yet we can ride our motorcycles without helmets in PA ... this makes no sense.

That's really bizarre! Why the differentiation? Because fewer people ride motorcycles?! No consistency.

In Michigan you can ride your motorcycle 80mph with out a helmet, carrying 3 ounces of weed, but if you get caught driving 25mph in a two ton car with 8 airbags, anti collision auto stop, with every distance warning bell available, and you're not wearing a seat belt, you get a moving violation.
