I always thought LSD gave you a new perception of everything. Oh hell that was a seventies thing.
Never mind

Some of you guys need to get out from behind your keyboard and go drive your Jeep!
A lot of that going on here. I agree the level makes a difference. Had two JLs before I got the gladiator, leveled all 3 before I swapped the shocks and there’s a noticeable (not massive obviously) change in handling with the reduction in rake.

Unless we have someone, who used the same kit on an identical build, I will appreciate OPs sharing of his experience and opinion.

Maybe something got tightened that was loose from the factory.
I suspect my front end is a little looser than it should be.
When I take it in I'll ask if they can look to see if anything can and or should be tighter.

If they put in longer LCA's then I could see it. I noticed the extra caster even with mine leveled and it is nice. Outside of that or shocks, I dunno.
When I put my leveling kit on I changed out the control arms also. That does make a difference. Jeep should be using the longer ones stock anyway.

New to the forum but I did notice there is a lot of pissing in others cheerios. Trying to figure out how it is helpful.

My lift is 2.5 with 35's for sneakers. is there a difference ? In a way I'm going to say yes, it wasn't that OMG the ride is so much better and the handling is great. It was different because I was higher up. I had bigger sneakers on. so it "felt" different than she did stock.
In the end though if it's working for you thats great enjoy your truck.

It's not pissing in cheerios, although I can see the point that calling someone out on their naiveté doesn't feel good.

It's helpful because it's preventing misinformation. Say someone isn't happy with how their Jeep is riding for whatever reason, so they come to the forums to look for solutions. This guy says the leveling pucks fixed his ride and without knowing anything else, they try it. It won't work because it's a false assumption, unless he also had something else added or something loose was tightened, in which case it wasn't the level itself that improved the ride.

And tbh it's all worse because when people in this thread explained the real physics to OP he doubles down on his false impressions and throws insults. Lol. Jeepers here are just trying to help other Jeepers learn, but you can't teach someone who doesn't want to learn.

Then it turns into a stupid "get off your keyboards answering my question of 'why did nobody tell me' with the real reasons why nobody told me and go drive your Jeeps more" self-owning stubborn-fest.

If the current arms stock arms are within spec alignment of caster, why should the arms be longer on the possible premise the owner is going to lift and not know exactly how much?
