I’m really glad you brought up TFL’s Gladiator.....are their steelies just 7.5” wide?I didn’t know you could run 35s on 7.5” wide wheels.

I’ve been looking for 8” or wider black steelies but I can’t find anything.
Absolutely. When I bought mine I found less than half a dozen Gobi models in the whole country. Love that color with the steelies.

Munkey Boy is on the nose. MPG. If they sell a car (or certain percentage of cars) with steel wheels and their attendant heavier unsprung weight, it counts against fleet mpg for regulatory compliance purposes. Same reason you can't get a soft top without a tonneau; soft top drops mpg, tonneau brings it back up and keeps them in compliance.
Umm......you can get a soft top without a tonneau.

I'm running 37 12.5 17 on my 17X7.5 stock steelies. Also here is a guide that discount tire uses to determine what they will and won't mount.

Awesome. This will come in handy. Beautiful setup on your truck by the way.

I was coming to say the same thing. So much misinformation from some people. The soft top does not drop MPG, the tonneau is required if you get the dual top group so they have somewhere somewhat secure to put the soft top since the hardtop is on the truck.

Mine came with both hard top and soft top but I didn't have a bed cover on mine so unless it's a dealership thing not sure. Also a soft top will most definitely affect MPGs a little.
