I have 37x12.50r20’s on my gladiator.

3 of them road forced at 11 or less and balanced with minimal weight.

The 4th one had a road force of 28 and Called for no weight to balance. This forth one was on the driver rear. Driving home i got a highway vibration through the back of my seat. When i got home i put it on the driver front. Vibration moved to the floorboard and slightly through the steering wheel.

so question is will the high spot in the tire wear down and come back into round smoothing out?

Concur, will never happen (from experience)
so, they say that under 35 pounds is considered within tolerance. I’m just under that and can feel the vibration. Might have something to do with e rated tires on these lighter gladiators. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be as noticeable on a 7,000 pound heavy duty truck.

Either way. Need a new tire.

It will likely only get worse. I used to align 18wheelers, we had a spec of 0.050" runout... anything worse in the egg-shaped direction, we'd cut tread. Call around to your local 18 wheeler shops, see who offers tread shaving. It'll save your tires and run a LOT smoother.

it looks something like this:

Correction. 41 pounds of road force. I just had the try to rebalance the tire. They acted like it wasn’t a big deal.

Have your shop get a replacement and send that tire back.
I called Nitto. They quarterbacked it and I’ll have a new tire next week.

They were great. Didn’t try to push back at all. Nitto gained a repeat customer today.

I had a set of garbage Shitto tires once too, and I also got new ones. Road force was a 56 on one of them... it was the worst one. I guess it's OK to make low quality stuff as long as you take care of your customers.

The tire should be replaced. Where did you get it? Should be under warranty. I am on my 4th set of Nittos and have never had an issue with them.

typically more than 12 ounces of weights means a bad out of round tire

I had a similar problem, but it was the Ion wheels that were not true. I posted a thread here today on it.
