I'm getting a winch installed tomorrow and was wondering what I need to do for my Tazer Lite. Will I have to reset the Tazer after the shop disconnects the battery. It's hooked up right now with live functions and have it set to 5.13 gears , tire size and auto start disabled.

Note: Many of us are using the Warn switch solenoid to avoid running all that battery power to the front bumper full time. This is a safety feature in case of an accident and the big hot wire is grounded to the frame possibly causing a fire. You can hook up the switch solenoid to one of the 10 Amp aux switches and when you turn it on, it will route power to the winch. Here are some pics and an install link. You can see how short the power cable is when the Solenoid is off.

My Apex Badland winch apparently comes with the kill switch in the box although I haven't opened it up yet.
