I believe that is the space created by the design of the folding windshield. You can see that other side of that crack on the inside of the A-pillar with the door open. I read another thread where the owner sealed the door frame crack with similar good results.

To help cool my diesel I removed the foam in there to let heat out, no additional wind noise. Mine came with foam pieces inside the corner cowls.

I’ve been trying to eliminate wind noise for 1.5 yrs and stumbled on cure. I ran the cable shown in first pic and wind noise got worse. I sealed the area per pics and case solved.

Wow, good find, mine has been driving me crazy since I had it. I pulled the windshield down and stuffed foam and weather strip seals into all cavities, added more all along the windshield body side frame area, and little change. I didnt take the cowl panels off, will go there next.
