Winter driving tips?

From my experience the JT has much more rear wheel traction than any of the other 10 4x4 pickups I have owned. I can go up steep gravel roads in 2wd that my other truck would have to be in 4wd to get up, seems very close to my JKU actually.

I’ve always used wild peaks in snow. Great tire.

Just rode home on black ice and lt3 studded Hakkapeliitta were amazing. Kept it in 2we most of the time.

They do work well. I had them on my JT for a while last winter and were night and day difference over the stock tires the Overland comes with. I was able to get through unplowed roads without trouble.
I now have Generals and the reviewers state those are also excellent tires (also 3 peak, snow flake, and a partridge in a pear tree rated)

Had generals on my 1500, equally a good winter tire at a decent price. K02s and Duratracs are nice but expensive for what you get. I’m trying to get my hands on some 37 kenda kleavers. Hear nothing but good things bout those tires at a good pride.
