If you have a decent backpack blower, you can use that instead of a shovel.

We use our Stihl BR800 and BR600 to clear snow off the sidewalks, vehicles and (if not too deep or heavy/wet snow)the driveway.

Too wet for blower this round. That is my preferred method for moving it.

Walked the dog this morning around 8am. About 4" on the ground. Cleared around the vehicles right after, there's maybe 6" total now with a few more bands due in. I think we should see 1-2" more over central MD by the time it's through.

Me? I had my one work related zoom this morning and am getting ready to walk to the bar.

Snow day drinking is the best.

Shit I would join you........but I decided to quit smoking and take a long pause on drinking. $17+ for a pack of smokes is just retarded at this point the value/enjoyment ROI is just not there; plus tried of giving the state of MD more of my hard earned money.

As far as drinking, my liver and kidneys were in need of a break. Bottomline, been a lazy dick since I retired from the Army and want to get back to my prime this year.

Plus the money saved will pay for more Jeep/house mods LOL

Rest assured, I don't day drink often but when I do it's a snow day. I was considering a dry January but that went out the window by the 2nd.

And $17+ a pack!! Shit!! When I quit 16-17 years ago they were around $7 at the gas station or 7/11. And I'm old enough to remember paying under $2/pack. Good on you for quitting. The ROI on quitting is far better than the ROI on not.

With a couple bulging lumbar discs driving me nuts, I broke down this year and bought an electric snow shovel. I'd been waiting for Dewalt to come out with an attachment for my weedwacker but instead found a Chinesium shovel on Amazon for $100 that takes the Dewalt batteries I own. It worked quite well so far.

I'm using my dad's snow blower. It's a Snapper 2 stroke. It's got to be 40+ yrs old. It will throw frozen dog shit about 20 ft.
