Come on, dude! That's not fair- Ireland rarely gets snow and doesn't build for it like places that do. This is a freak storm system- report I saw said they have around 18" so far or so when they get under an inch total all year.

Personally I don't mind the snow but only when its all snow. Our usual Mid Atlantic all in one wet, heavy snow-rain-ice storms suck. I'd rather be somewhere warm but still.

@Minty JL is about 15 miles or so as the crow flies southeast of me and he's got around 8" and I got about 6." This storm was more or less a 150-200 mile wide band that moved in a generally straight line west to east with the middle of the band being the heaviest snowfall. My sister is 20 miles north of me and she got around 2-3, she said just barely enough for her kids to go sledding.

The interesting thing is the Polar Vortex (ooOOoo!) is kicking up over WV and headed in this way with potentially another few inches on top of today's total, plus a serious dip in temps. Been 23-29 all day and will get into the teens overnight.

I just flipped the local news on and they said that Easton reported 11" and Denton was over 9. Nuts.

Don't I know it? I live in Texas. This place is run by morons. One degree below freezing and the whole state collectively loses it's shit and self destructs.

So yeah, I'm pretty grateful we don't get snow.

Took the Gladdy out last night for a bit of fun. Managed to get it sideways with a hard steer...lol.
Was supposed to work today but the county I work in was no travel. Roads by my house were total shit as I ran to the kroger 2 minutes away.

Just got done talking to a buddy in KC. He said that they shut down I70.

Had to shovel a path off of the patio into the backyard so that my Yorkie can go out and do her business. She stopped at the edge of the patio. Looked at me, and shook her head. Then pee'd right there. So I had to shovel.

Shit I would join you........but I decided to quit smoking and take a long pause on drinking. $17+ for a pack of smokes is just retarded at this point the value/enjoyment ROI is just not there; plus tried of giving the state of MD more of my hard earned money.

As far as drinking, my liver and kidneys were in need of a break. Bottomline, been a lazy dick since I retired from the Army and want to get back to my prime this year.

Plus the money saved will pay for more Jeep/house mods LOL

Its all about the Mods ...lol, I am looking to do the same this year. I have hopes of seat upgrades, flooring upgrades are 2 things on my wish list.
