On 23 Rubicon drivers side wiring harness.
So I ripped out all 6 wires from Female wiring harness plug behind the wheel well. 5 have pins and the solid brown ( I'm color blind, so I think it's brown) looks like it was hardwired into harness? The solid brown looks like it replaced the Orange/White wire i see in diagrams when I look up.
So my question is, what is the order for sure on these wires? And how do I UNscrew this up? Obviously I don't want to put in a new harness, that would be crazy expensive. I bought the only 6 pin harness i could find for JL/JT and i was going to cut off the female half of it and hardwired the 6 new wires to the six coming from stock harness. Does that make sense? The brown wire is throwing me off though on not having a pin though.

Regarding the brown wire with no pin. Have you looked in the female connector, where you pulled the wires from, to see if the brown wire pin remained in the female side of the connector. These pins are designed to be able to be removed from either the male or female side of the connector. There is a specific procedure and tool to be used to remove the pins from connector. If wires are simply pulled out there is a good chance the wire will pull out of the pin. There are schematics on this forum. I will look to see if I can find anything that may help. If I find anything I will let you know.

Not saying diagrams are not here on the forum but I have not been able to find the schematic. Found a link that may have been where it was but now the link leads to a dead end.

Hey There, I would have bought one of those Intermediatory plug and play harnesses so you can mess around with those and not impact facotry harness, But here you go. I attached the Left and the Right connector details. Color and Position.

Definitely helps. This is the 1st diagram showing BG/BR on pin 1. But I'm almost positive it wasn't a pin and one of the " no connect" or "dummy, open , or plugged" wires. It's been like 5 months since I wired it. I'll look into it and update when weather permits my shady tree mechanic skills. Thanks.

Ok good luck, be sure to look at the correct side diagram. Left or right, the color of the wires are slightly different.
