I am trying to get Witech subscription to complete my Adaptive Cruise Control done at home.

I have the J2534 Witech Programmer.

I am wondering if I need anything more than the 30 day subscription or I can just buy VIN specific 30 day subscription.

Do I need TechAuthority or the ECU flash subscription?

I'm waiting on my j2534 to arrive in the mail to activate mine as well. I plan on going with the non vin specific, whats an additional 10 dollars at this point. And that way, nobody has record of what changes have been made to the jeep. I dont know if that thing uploads to a central database or not.

Have you finished the hardware install? I have everything installed, minus the heated windshield. Easier and faster than the Aux switches.

I got the programmer but I have not gotten to the point of installing any of the components yet.

I only have the ACC switch installed along with 392 steering wheel and paddle switch so far.

I have the trim pieces and I think I got the right cable for the heated windshield and the new DASM.

Purchased used ABS controllers/modules off of ACC equipped Gladiator but kinda hesitating if I should just get a new module and pump instead. Only reason I did not buy new was because I could not confirm part numbers for the ABS pump/module for ACC equipped Gladiator.

Did you use new parts for your ABS stuff? Which part number did you install? I read somewhere keeping the brake pedal pressed keeps the reservoir from draining?

Are you going to use the the configuration settings for the ACC off of the Ram Forum Guide?

Let me know if you want to use my VIN and see if anyone can cross reference parts for you. Mine is a 22 Diesel with ACC.

I’ll get you the part numbers I used tonight. I went new, for my peace of mine when it comes to brakes.

I do plan on doing a little write up once I’m finished. We should collaborate, and write one together. I did not take many pictures.

yes. If you keep the brake pedal depressed some, you should not have to bleed the brakes.

I’m going to toggle the settings as outlined in this thread. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/acc-adaptive-cruise-retrofit-underway-psa.55305/

That is as soon as my witech2 device registration becomes active. Up to 48 hrs after submission. Blah.

I haven’t seen the ram thread yet.

I am all for collaborating as it helps everyone and saves me time. I was also planning on doing a writeup as the documentation on the ACC retrofit is piss poor to say the least. There is not a single photo of the install. I could not find a single photo of the installed component related to this.

So the following is what I was talking about the ACC configuration for Rams.

Obviously, the lane departure and rain sensing portion of the vehicle configuration is not to be messed with.

I appreciate you. I think I may have found a VIN for 2023 diesel with ACC.

I think @sapientiam has 2023 Diesel as well. So let's see what part number he has on his Gladiator.

Here is something I missed from the ACC thread.

VehConfig 2: Cruise Control Present- NO

VehConfig 7: Full Speed Range Forward Collision Warning Plus System- YES

VehConfig 7: Type of adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system present- ACC WITH STOP (auto trans only)/ ACC (manual trans only)

CustSetMenu 1: Forward Collision Warning CSM Present- Feature 2 - 3 Option

CustSetMenu 2: Forward Collision Warning Single Setting (Warning and Brake) CSM Present- YES

P/T Chassis Net: ACC/DASM Adaptive Cruise Control/Driver Assistance Module- ENABLED

Make sure that you do not enable this setting:
P/T Chassis Net: ACC Adaptive Cruise Control- NOT ENABLED

Any other settings that you see that mention ACC or forward collision warning do not get enabled.

@sapientiam

I found a 2023 JTRD VIN.

Found these part numbers for the ABS module:

68438383AA
68569630AA

Are these what you used?

new foward facing camera assembly via ebay 4672935ab $413.99

I ordered lots of fastner, most if not all i didn't use. If i remember correctly the camera assembly came with all of them.

Everything is installed, and my witech is now active. I just have to go out there and toggle the settings. I've been driving it for weeks as is.

So what error codes do you have now? Also does your dash say anything about the DASM?

Just ordered the new ABS assembly.

Let's see how long it takes to receive these items.

I think I read that when you go through the calibration process, your computer needs to be connected to the internet? I suppose the Witech is web-based so I suppose that is why?

All of the parts are shipped and en route. All should arrive by next week before the weekend. Can't wait to get this done!
