I keep scrolling back to this post and looking at wolfbox videos.

do not like the install method. Strapping a mirror over the OEM mirror doesn't cut it for me.

That is my issue also. I have to raise my mirror up periodically as it is, more weight may not help.
Matt with Dirt Road cred installed the 900 pro and used a replacement mount to completely replace the mirror and mount, of course it had restrictions on use. What say you Wolfbox, will this work on the tripo?

Appreciate the video, this is definitely more in line with what i was looking for. Rather surprised to see his '24 had the old twist-out, no-wire mirror, i thought everyone was stuck with the same homelink/sirius wired mirror i was.

But if the way this whole thing plays out is that all the money i save on the pre-order sale is spent on brackets to make the install look not ghetto... i'll probably just skip it and install something else.

I take that last part back, they sell the bracket needed for $18. Back to thinking about it.

Interested and added to cart. How involved is the install for this mirror and camera setup?
Usually it takes 1.5 hours to complete the setup. Read the manual first before install and make sure you connect wires right.

Instead of this clamping to the existing mirror, is there a way to remove the stock mirror and replace it completely with this?
Yes, we have OEM bracket.

If you want to install our OEM bracket but worry about the compatibility, we offer a universal solution.
  1. Choose #1 bracket, and leave a note "need a metal piece" when check out.
  2. Remove the original bracket, including the plastic part and the metal part on the windshield.
  3. Use strong glue and paste the metal piece (flat side) to the windshield.
  4. Slide in the OEM bracket and drive the screw tightly.

Is the manual available on line?

Just finished the install. Love the product but really wish you would package the correct OEM mirror replacement bracket instead of making us search for the right one and then buy it separately.

Agreed. Offer universal kits that don't come with the mount, and then offer vehicle specific kits that include the mount and price them accordingly.

I would suspect most people would rather replace the OEM mirror vs go the clunky and cumbersome route of strapping the Wolbox over their OEM mirror, and I would also suspect most of their sales are from Amazon where you can not buy their mounts and people aren't even aware they can get them. Offering vehicle specific kits would probably make more money buy selling more mounts.

The original cable for the bumper cam is 20ft, 33ft for the rear cam. The extension cable is not available now, please wait for a while. All accessories for the bumper version is here.
would be nice if there was shorter, adjustable or custom length options so we don’t have loops of camera wire zip tied everywhere or have to splice or ghetto rig extension.

I have a Mojave with the powered mirror. Would need a kit that replaces that mirror and attaches to the same place for me to switch over. Mine is not attached to the window.
