I am about to dive into modifying my Sport S but not sure where I want to start first. If I go regear to get bigger tires, can I keep the LSD as it is? I have next to no miles on it and do not plan on doing lockers unless this thing wears out or long down the road decide I need them.

Nuts and bolts just like an open diff, but without the wiring of an E-locker.
Cool so it should not be more expensive than a non LSD diff?

Labor cost should be the same? Is that what you are asking? Same parts?

yeah sorry i should of been more specific. Like the cost to regear an LSD would probably be the same as anything else.

Like the man said - same parts (bearings, seals, gears) and labor as the LSD is inside the carrier. They won't even have to open the carrier itself.

I cant refer you to any down there and I don't honestly know what you are getting for less than $2K. It's about $3K up in my neck of the woods for a complete job and good warranty from a reputable shop.

Thanks again. While I ask around, for shits and giggles I'm going to get a quote from the dealer and see what they say.
