Stupid Damn WeatherTech

Ok, i bought into the advertising. Bought the front and rear window vent covers.
Followed the directions, let em sit, for 48 hrs. Hell i left em for 3 full days. Went to put rhem down today after work and both fronts came right out. Man im pissed, that was $100 for nothing. Anybody else deal with this, what was the fix? I was going to find so two sided tape of some kind

My rears fell out after a week. I didn't use the alcohol wipes so it was my fault. Do you have the in channel or out of channel style? Oil, wax, ceramic coat would probably do it as well.

These stupid things are in channel....i was hesitant in buying these things. But ive had good luck w weather tech in the past. I have no good idea on how to keep them in. Soon as the window comes down they are right behind it.

I have the Weathertech covers. If you don't have the front lower part in right. Yes they will come out. It's a little tricky to get them started.

Ok, they are in the channel just to the outside of the window channel, so where else would they go? The next channel past that is the actual fold in the weather-strip and it wont go in there.....

I was hesitant to buy them because I had read of some having problems with them falling down.
But I pulled the trigger on them anyway, followed directions installing the metal clips and using the little plastic weatherstrip tool they came with. I left the windows up as the directions said.
They have been in about four months now with no issues at all of them falling down, we have the windows up and down quite a bit.

I have these as well. The fronts have to go in between the weather strip and the plastic molding. I am however having trouble with one of the rear one's. Had these on my JK and JL and they always fit perfect, first time I had trouble with them.

You did it right. The rear gets 2 metals clips each. None in the front. Wish I was there to help you.

Two each for the rears, you are correct.
