That's what I did, but it still took nearly five months. Now that I have it, all that angst has faded away.I have no idea if this is true or not, but keep in mind that most dealerships are trained to take your order no matter what to have you “locked in”. Just becuse you have an order in for a ‘23 with those options, doesn’t mean it will be built anytime soon. Before you place an order, ask them to print off a current order sheet and sign off on it. That eliminates a lot any doubt. That’s how I always did orders and IMO that’s how any reputable dealership should do it. I’m amazed at how many dealerships will accept an order from the manufacturer build and price or even an email or written down on a piece of paper.
I worked in the auto biz for years, so not just talking shit about dealers not based on facts like a lot of people do.
That sucks, but at least you got what you ordered and no discrepancy on price or options. It makes it really cut and dry. That's what I did, but it still took nearly five months. Now that I have it, all that angst has faded away.
Yeah, I'm happy with it. They gave me 6% under MSRP (not invoice), and I've now added most of what I wanted in regard to mods. That sucks, but at least you got what you ordered and no discrepancy on price or options. It makes it really cut and dry.
Any update on your Mojave build? Just wondering if I should order or if it's going to be delayed.I ordered a 23 Mojave with those options and was not given that information.
Unfortunately no movement on my order. Not sure if it’s because of the safety packages or just a delayed start to the 2023 model.Any update on your Mojave build? Just wondering if I should order or if it's going to be delayed.
My Rubicon went into production today and I ordered the safety packages. Also, this status page from the Jeep Tracker shows a number of Jeeps in production with the safety package too.Unfortunately no movement on my order.
