Yeah the resale thing is kinda BS when you can get a $15k off of MSRP on a F150 when a Tundra was gonna be at most 2k under MSRP. Or they used to be anyway til Covid.

Nice truck OP, I've had several fords, including 3 Ecoboosts with nary an issue.
My current truck is at 183,000 miles and running like a sewing machine.

Is the F-150 a bad truck, no, not a truck I would buy though. Fact is it has the worst resale value out of all of them, just what it is, never buy a new one.

That was from 2021, did you look at the other 2 links? Not sure where you are trying to get to, nothing against anyone with a F150 but it factually has the worst resale value. Sorry, out of my control, I had nothing to do with it, I don't make them, I don't own one because.

Never buy one new unless you love to lose ALOT of money. Buy one used that is a 22 model and you will be better off.

I found it interesting the link you led off with does not support your argument. Maybe it is irrelevant since it is from 2021, but you provided that link for whatever reason.

I can just as easily find links that say the F150 is great at resale.

Anyone looking at resale value and MPG when buying a truck, especially a Jeep, is looking at the wrong vehicle. You buy because you want or need it, and live with what you get. A truck is not a financial investment, it is a money pit.

Side note, I wish Stellantis made a rebadged Ram 1500 a Jeep Jtruck. I would probably be driving one of those instead of the Gladiator. The Ram Classic would be perfect as a J truck.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think the reason they don’t is it would probably poach sales from the Ram 1500.
