Do you have a thread with this tummy tucker skid plate.
It is the Artec set... a pain to install since factory straps are replaced on the gas tank and elsewhere- that allows for the skids to be flush across the whole of the vehicle... raising GC and offering more coverage, with a slight increase in weight. When you think of the cost to get 3/4 inch more clearance (lift and tires), it is a good choice.... you get the extra clearance just by moving things up tighter to the frame and body.

If they put fancier shocks and a rear locker on the Sport, would the Mojave exist?
yep, still wouldn't buy the sport, I like the iron suspension, hydraulic jounces, the better steering wheel, reinforced chassis, higher lift, better seats, wider stance, better hood even if it's just for look and yeah the orange trim... so yeah id think the sport is still the base model

by the way ... how do you choose your trim? based on your use or the options?
tbh I choosed mine because Rubicon is legendary and because the Launch Edition. since off roading isn't allowed in my land , basically if they decide to launch a Wrangler/Gladiator 2WD only it could work ;-) for the next one ... I don't know will see what they offer.

I love my Mojave, but IMO, now that I drive it faster off road then when first I got it in February, I find it could use better front shocks. They hit the hydraulic bump stops (bump!) more often than I would think they should, and once in a while bottom out completely (bang!). I mean, I am not driving the "Trophy Truck" circuit here in NJ lol! so I am somewhat surprised...Maybe I just need to slow down a little into the bigger bumps, but that defeats the whole purpose ;-).

Other than this it is an absolute pleasure to drive on and off road.

As far as not having a front locker, well, it would be nice to have everything in every model, but Mo is not Rubi and Rubi is not Mo, each has its specialty, but their capabilities also overlap by a great degree...Pick which one (best) fits your intentions...In NJ most of the trails are of a sandy nature (with plenty of water), whereas relatively few rocky-crawling type trails so a front locker is really not needed. And you get a better ride overall street and dirt with the Mo.

Coming from a sxs and getting a truck as the replacement to use purposefully for offroading and camping, I test drove each trim other than the Mohave and tbh I was not overly impressed with any of the shocks, I thought they all lacked rebound specifically, but also compression.

Rebound and suspension overall plays a surprisingly big roll in traction and obviously offroad driving experience/enjoyment in general, so I knew I’d be upgrading shocks regardless of the trim… not that I’d say it’s a necessity, but to your point that the Mohave could use better shocks, I think almost any vehicle/any brand coming off the showroom floor could use upgraded shocks if a person wants to go after maximum comfort and/or performance.

Even sxs’s that are built for 100% offroad, the first thing many guys upgrade is the stock suspension.

Lol chill. No need to post your window sticker. I'm well aware there's a big difference in the models. I thought this was one of those light hearted shit talking threads. Guess I forgot where I was....

(But it says Mojave on my seats)

Honestly though if you want power windows/locks this truck is way overpriced but it’s the only thing really like it till the Bronco truck start getting breaking down and stuck.
I think the packages are designed to up sell.
