Add factory remote start ‘22 Mojave?

My Mojave doesn’t have remote start on the key fob or in the app.
Was wondering if it’s just a software purchase? I searched threads but couldn’t find this specific scenario.

I’d be happy with just remote start in the app and not need a new fob.
Also bonus question, anybody know if the leather Mojave seats have seat heaters in them? I didn’t get that option but again was wondering if it’s a simple dealer/factory purchase.

My 21 Mojave has the remote start in the key fob, and it wasn’t an option that I picked. I do have the heated seats though. That was part of the cold weather package. Heated seats and steering wheel.

There is a Mopar remote start kit you can buy to add the feature to start it using the FOB. Remote Start from the app is an option that has to be factory installed.

There are no Mopar kits to add seat heaters if they were not factory installed.

And while searching for a Wrangler fit for my wife, it's amazing the number of Jeeps on the lots in Florida, South Texas and your area of CA that have that cold weather package. I thought - really? That's a big seller in central Florida?

Anyway, no, this isn't like a BMW or Toyota where the features are merely a subscription. There's often hardware missing - like the heating elements and wiring for heated seats.

I think the question here is focused on the remote start only, which I've seen conflicting information on whether it actually requires anything more than a software change and a new FOB for newer Gladiators.

That lists as Wrangler only. No mention of Gladiator. Plus it's just a pair of FOBs and a set of dealer instructions, I don't think any truck-side hardware is actually missing.

Still waiting to see if it's worked for others.

Without the dealer adding the sales code and going through all their stuff, I doubt it would work through the app...

With the prior app you needed the Sirius Guardian for remote start on a phone.
Is that no longer true?

For $400 bucks, that kit is likely just 2 fobs, IMO.
