I was thinking of going from 33" Falkens to 35" KO2 on my '22 Mojave.

1) Any concerns go doing so just by changing the tires on the stock wheels and no spacers?
2) Has anyone done the same? If so, how was the ride different?

You’re good to go! I run 315’s on mine, no issues, no rub, power is plenty fine.

Mine has new wheels but runs fine no issues. I got the Jscan and changed the speedo too. Less than $100

Thank you, gentlemen!

Did you buy the C or E class?

I was thinking E, so I can air down with less concern about debeading, but was unsure about the overall ride.

Have some getting installed this week. Went with the 315x70x17 and E rated tires as that is what the dealer can get. $325.00 per tire. I'll see if I can post a pic when done. Have a 2" Icon lift and Icon rims with a -6mm offset.

I went from 33 Wildpeak MTs to 35 (metric) KO2s, but on new wheels. I did go with class C because I didn't want the potential harsh ride. Very happy with the KO2s.

I was thinking the “E” class because of a belief (I don’t really know) that would be better air down…less likely to debelad.

However, the reality is that I will be in “C” mode (paved road) most of the time.

I"m running E rated, I like the way they ride, but I imagine C's might be smoother on the street. My take has always been I want thicker construction with my tires for added toughness as I get out to very remote northern areas in Canada and would like to avoid flats. I feel like my Cooper ST Maxx 315's were D rated... They rode rougher than my E rated Falkens, but certainly not bad. I do like that older rougher truck feel..!

My understanding is factory rubicon can fit 35’s with no lift. I assume Mojave, since it rides a little higher, can as well without issues.
The one thing you might run into with 35 x 12.50 or 315 70’s is BFG says they need to be in at least 8” wide wheels and the stock wheels are only 7.5” wide. That being said, what tire shops are willing to do is a different story.

I run the 35" KO2 E and air down regularly for the dunes and they work just fine. On road the ride is good and the stiffer sidewall I don't think is noticeable.

I'm running the stock wheel with no spacers, just a 1.5" level in the front.

A YouTuber "Far from Ordinary" had run "37 on stock rims for a log time without issues...someone stated that the smaller wheel widths acts like a poor man's beadlock...so not sure what to make of all that...

That's my usual route, then 37s lol...

37's is when you really notice the look and feel changes...

You should be fine with stock set up and 35"/315 tires. I've had 285/70/17, 315s, 35"s, etc.... on a few different vehicles. Always loved the BFG AT KO2s, and the KM3s. Pricey but the heart wants what the heart wants! lol

I had BFG KO's on a previous truck and thankfully got the full replacment certs from Discount. They replaced 7 of them and at the visit for the 8th replacement, I said that's enough of this and they agreed and refunded everything I had paid up to that point, and I applied it to some Nitto's. I wouldn't take a free set of BFG's again.
