Don't have any plans to lift my 2020 JT. At 65, I don't have a need for anything other than what I bought off the showroom floor. The only off roading I do anymore is taking a 3/4 mile trail down to the lake for fishin'.
Now, my grandson, who is 14, has plans for it.

I actually rather afraid to turn my grandson loose with it. It would be air-powered like he did with his skateboard or perhaps these days, nuclear powered.

And in case anyone thinks I'm joking -

Well I've had a lift kit to install for over 6 months now. ? actually I did start to install it last year on my B-day. I jacked it up and started setting on jack stands as I set driver's side down it shifted sideways. Note: my property is on side of big hill. I decided not today I didn't want to accidentally kill myself on my birthday. So I've had a load of slag dropped off to help level it now I've got a area that's close enough to try again... as soon as the next load gets delivered.
I guess after that I'll not be part of this club.

If u were closer I'd say bring it over and I'd move my JT out to make room for you to work on yours. The garage isn't pretty but it's got a nice concrete floor, is pretty level and there's jacks and stands all around. Heck, even hook the gantry crane up to the bumper and lift it up without a jack.

I just can't see myself doing a "lift". I've given it 0.75" spacers in the rear and air bags to compensate for the sag of towing, and the springs up front to handle the weight of the add-ons and plow but at my age, I just see a lift as a negative thing, with no benefit at all. If I did it, it would be for looks only and if I want to impress when I drive, I've got 2 other vehicles that impress all ages.
When I hear "why not lift it" I respond with "why?". She's quick, nimble, and STABLE.
I guess I could always visit my dealer and ask if I could crawl over their display rock with it if I get bored.

I'd possibly take you up on that, while at it install that locker. ;) ? Time for a road trip. Hmmm I'm hoping to make a trip out west. Could be kinda on the way.;)
Last time I was in Iowa was a really long time ago, Dec. 24 1988 driving home from Ft Lewis WA. Dang cold then.

still stock suspension here. would consider suspension change but not super interested in more height at the moment. if i had thousands of dollars laying around i guess I'd pick a lift but its just not something i need at the point.

It really just depends how you’re going to use it. I put 35s on mine the day I bought it. both for a little bit more clearance and because 33 is just look too small.

The very first time I took it off road I realized it was way too low. Even now with a 2 inch lift and 35s. It’s too low for my kind of wheeling. I got hung up a couple times in Moab last week (again) So soon I’ll have bigger tires.

If you don’t plan to go over large rocks, or hills with it, the stock height is fine. But the long wheelbase really can hold you back depending what you like to do.

I'm still a Philistine after all these years and I still get asked all the time when you gonna lift that thing up and still give the same answer not going to (LOL).

"Stock" - Rubi takeoffs, a front level kit only, and Apex disconnects.

Takes me through national forests just fine. Even wheeled a good bit in Merus.

Stock works for me right now, and for the foreseeable future.

Rack and all that jazz is removed now for the summer. To hot for camping here for a while.

I loved my stock JT I bought in October of 2019… but what I put it through in the last 3+ years, it’s on its 2nd lift and 37’s with 94,000 miles. Stock is great but as you live with it, most of us end up building the JT into what we use it for.
