Had a hit and run in front of the house on the 18th. This is what my security cameras caught. Camera 3 decided at the time to do a double image. This is hoe easy it is to flip a Jeep. The driver walked away. She is ok.

Damn, what a pos. Hopefully you were able to grab a plate off your camera for the police. Any idea how the people in the jeep are?

Most home cameras are worthless for picking up plates lol. I couldn't read the plates on the one in their driveway.

Oh man I hope nobody got hurt!! The jeep was clearly going too fast - but running a stop sign is no excuse, probably on their phone. I liked how the black truck stopped - too bad they didnt get out to render assistance.

by the way what camera do you have? I'm in need of a home security system. Some of our gov trucks are getting gas siphoned and equipment stolen in broad daylight, at the office.

The woman driving is ok. She refused to go to the hospital. No bumps or scrapes. Plus she's a nurse.

The car that ran. Left his front bumper cover in the neighbor's yard where it landed. On it was a license plate where the car was bought from. The other neighbor was looking to buy that car last week. So the state police contacted the car dealer and found out who it was.

I have a Samsung security cameras. It's a 10 camera system that you can expand to 16 cameras. Got it back in 2012 from Sam's Club. Think I paid $500 for it. I expanded it to 12 cameras around the house. All the cameras are hard wired. Plus there is an app where I can view the cameras.

Watched the second video twice (double imaged) but can see that the car stopped and two people got out before driving off. Not only is the driver a POS but the two that exited the car and walked away are POS as well. Glad to hear the Jeep driver is ok.

Wow, what a POS. Obviously the driver of the van wasn't paying attention or they would have seen the Jeep coming. Since it's not a 4 way stop, the Jeep had the right of way. I'm glad to see that the Jeep driver wasn't hurt, I'm assuming that she was buckled and hung upside down for a few minutes.
Been there, done that a few times just under different circumstances.

I was expecting some idiot to hit your JT and I was upset... then I was even more upset. A vehicle is at the end of day a hunk of plastic rubber and steal we put our love, time and hard earned money into but at the end of the day it is just a hunk of raw materials. People cannot be replaced, I am glad the nurse was not hurt.

100% fault ofbthe bubble suv, but an ounce of defensive driving by the jeeper would have prevented that completely. That other suv was in the intersection before the jeep approached.

As stupid as it sounds, put your DVR in the attic or basement if you can. Had a few very professional thieves break into my shop with 27 cameras. Dummies, right? Nope... they walked away with the DVR that was under the desk in the office, leaving not a trace of video. Just thinking out loud.

I’m trying to understand why the camera in the first video is moving so much. Shouldn’t it be fixed?
It looks like you were holding your cell phone…

I am only using an Arlo doorbell camera at the moment but my neighbor just switched to this and its a great setup. Arlo makes some easy to mount cameras also with good quality and range but the cameras posted below are top notch
