I’ve never done a pump on an EcoD but shouldn’t the pump feed the high pressure rail and the injectors be fired electronically?
On all the CP4 to CP3 swaps I've seen and read about. They all mentioned about timing the fuel pump.

Correct. You have to time the cam lobes in the pump with the injectors to ensure uniform pressure in the common fuel rail.

Surely there is information available that will allow us to perform an injector pump swap in our own shops without having to farm it out

i think you just remove the pump and replace in the same position…seems like that’s pretty simple.

Congrats everyone, we all officially own collectibles with Jeep now discontinuing the diesel as posted in this thread:
https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...er-gladiator-4xe-phev-replacing-diesel.70496/

Now to find out just how collectible we are. The only source I could find is recall info for our HPFP which shows:

7,554 Gladiator Ecodiesels produced between 2021-2023

With the stop-sale going on I can't imagine there will be more than 9,000 total.

Just for reference, my other fun car is a Honda S2000, which is considered rare despite them making 66,860.

Hopefully we don't see the negative side of this with part shortages due to our 3.0 being present in the Wranglers and Rams, but if you want a diesel off-road Jeep truck, there is officially less than 10,000 of them that will ever be in existence from the factory!

Here's mine ?:

Just curious if you are being serious? My order was accepted March 31st, went to D1 "Scheduled" April 26th, then nothing. When I placed the order with the dealership, I was told that I should have it in 8 to 12 weeks, maybe less. This IS the 12th week. With the recall/stop sell, I'd say, don't get your hopes up.

No I am serious, it's in "D" status as per the dealership... and the e-mail from STELLANIS GROUP stated it is still to be produced but who knows they might be just blowing smoke with the NATIONAL STOP SALE still going on..I had ordered on April 18..and they had accepted it on the 20th...within 2 weeks assigned it a VON #, then a VIN #...so not sure..fingers crossed..

My dealer was told Production would start May 25. That was changed to June 2. FCACommunity.force.com told me they weren't sure of a new date since they are still working on the HPFP problem. Supposedly, a new shipment of diesel engines was coming in from Italy the first week of June. Hopefully with the new and improved HPFPs! We will see. I'm okay with waiting a little longer for the problem to be fixed.
