I was really concerned about this. This is good info, thanks.

The QuadLock suction cup mount works really, really well. I've used it on a race track and subjected it to serious g-forces and vibration, and it hasn't come loose yet.

I belive you and don't have the quad lock suction, but in my general experience, I've never seen a suction cup stay attached to windshield through three seasons. The summer is warm in Colorado and the winter is cold... seems like that may contribute to them failing and me swearing them off forever.

I've used the quadlock system with the wireless charging head on my Triumph Tiger for aboot six months now. It's mounted to my handlebars between the bar clamps and has been rock solid. I have been overall impressed by it.

Coddled inside of a jeep cabin you may have an issue with the wireless charging. There were concerns in the motorcycle community that the wireless charging would overheat and lose efficiency or cut out. Riding in 98* weather I did not experience and attribute that to the cooling fins on the rear of the head which enjoys robust airflow on a bike, but obviously would not in a vehicle cabin.

The negatives - the system is expensive for what is basically a phone mount. Superficially it achieves the exact same end state as a $15 suction cup mount except it costs $140. For motorcycle use where the consequences of a mount failure are high (phone bouncing down the freeway at 70mph), robustness is critical. Inside of a jeep I think it may be overkill but I haven't seen that stop any jeepers yet ;).

I have the Ram dash mount but haven't found a system I like yet when it comes to attaching arms and mounts. I hate the bulk of the ram arms. I'll probably order the bullet point arms and add my own phone and tablet mounts.

I love Quadlock... I have the mounts on my motorcycles, as well as my bicycle.

I literally just ordered the bulletpoint mount 5 minutes before seeing this thread. I plan to use the bullet point with ball adapter and marrying it to the bulletpoint.
I just ordered a their new thinner case with the magsafe ring thingie, as well as the vibration dampener. The ride in the Jeep is obviously not as smooth as our minivan, so I think the vibration dampener is a good add on.
Hey friend! I am planning on doing the same thing. Bullet point, quad lock for my phone. How did it turn out for you?

Quadlock is way behind the curve on wireless charging. They can't charge and keep your phone alive.

Who do you recommend for phone retention / case friendly wireless charging ?

I've been using the Quadlock gen 1 wireless charger, with their 9V output usb cigarette adapter for over 2 years now and it's able to keeping my iphone charged while running Google map just fine.

I went with the bulletpoint full platform. After looking at a number of different brands I liked the positioning with this one. It’s low on the horizon ( barely higher than the hood) and doesn’t block any of the dash components.
The single phone mount is cheaper but I wanted the option to add other components later. I already have the GoPro on the windshield behind the mirror so I passed on that one.
I ordered a 90 deg lightning cable today so it would hang straight down instead of curving in front of the screen.

Hi! I couldn't be happier with my set up! Here's how I have mine set up:

Just took these this evening. I'll try to take some during the daytime so you can see better.

I use the Quadlock Maghead to secure the phone (instead of the locking 'twist and lock' head). This is a much faster way for me to mount and unmount my phone. The magnets are strong and I've never had the phone fall off, even on the biggest of bumps.

Since the Jeep doesn't exactly ride like a Cadillac, I also opted to incorporate Quadlock's vibration dampener to the Maghead mount.

For the passenger side, I just used the 'regular' Bulletpoint cell mount since my wife and son don't have quadlock cases. Plus, I can't assume that any future passengers will have quadlock cases.

I may eventually set up a Magic Box for wireless carplay. At that point, I'll add Quadlock's wirless charging head to the above set up.

Again, since I connect to CarPlay wired, I don't really use wireless charging while in the Gladiator. However, DO use the wireless charging head while riding my motorcycle and it charges my iPhone ProMax (and keeps the charge) just fine. (https://bit.ly/3NTBK0C)
(I have the above charging head also mounted onto a vibration dampener! Very important!)

At HOME - where I do use wireless charging - Quadlock's new cases FULLY SUPPORT wireless changing with its Quadlock "Mag".

I use this Belkin wireless charging stand (also use the base area to charge my airpods and my "wok: phone). Not only is the case Magsafe compatible, it charges just as fast as the OEM Apple magsafe cases.

Thanks for the response!!
I have everything Quad lock except car so that’s awesome.
How did you connect the quad lock? Using the quad lock ball (22mm) or the quad lock Ram adapter ball (1”)?

Hi! I used the Flange Socket - Converts 20mm arm end to accommodate 1" ball

Here's the components I used for my set-up.

What do you mean by this? I have no problem [that I'm aware of?] keeping my phone charged and alive with my quadlock wireless charger mount. Can you elaborate?
