Looking to see if anyone else here has recalibrated their tire size with a tazer that also has a manual transmission and doesn’t have any issues. I put a set of 37“ Falken Wildpeak MT’s on my Mojave Tuesday after work and had my Tazer delivered yesterday. Has anyone else done this and can say they have no issues afterwards?

Um, I didn't do any of that and mine appears to work fine. I just changed my tire size via Tazer, did a couple ignition cycles, and rolled with it. 13k miles later with 35s and I don't recall having any issues. Most definitely didn't disconnect my battery at any point. Perhaps its because I haven't regeared get and very rarely use 6th gear?

I was going to just go the normal reset and two sleep cycle route and see what happens but I was waiting for someone else to let me know of their experience first. The only time I even use 6th gear anymore is on the highway going 75mph and it’s almost exactly 2k RPM.

I changed tires to 37s and installed the Tazer and it was fine. I had issues with ASS (auto stop start - aka ESS) after later regearing and had to completely disconnect the battery and do the relearn.

I didn't have to do the relearn for the tire size change, but I did when I re-geared.

Thanks for the help guys. I’ll just do the basic method and if it throws me an error try those extra steps and hopefully it fixes it.

Accurate odometer tracking is why I did it.

I think it is important on the automatics for shifting points, with a manual it may not be such a big issue for drivability. It is a new truck though, I would do it right to make sure your odometer is accurate and for peace of mind, just my .02. Sometimes I envy you MT folks, I miss my 3rd pedal.

Looks like I didn’t get away with it like everybody else lol.

Good news: Setting the tire size to 36.69” like it says off Falkens website makes it accurate vs my phone so I’m happy about that

Bad news: The stupid ASS (lol) light being on, and now backing up I don’t have a camera. I have to hotkey it to the bottom of the Uconnect screen to use it, and it doesn’t show the lines either.

Guess I’ll have to try disconnecting the battery and trying everything all over again.
