I know many versions of this thread are out there:). But I'm wondering how many people with the Sport model are running 37s with JUST the Mopar lift. If you are - do you have any rubbing issues? Are you able to do mild off roading? Would you be willing to share a pic?

Which lift? 2"...3"? What rims with the 37's? Yes...you will rub unless you re just using it to take the kids to Soccer. and we wont even start about gears.

Hmm... I thought the Mopar lift was a 2 inch lift... And how about whatever rims they're using for their 37s? And I specifically didn't mention gears cuz that's different conversation. I was just wondering if anyone was running 37s with a Sport (non Rubicon or Mohave) who only had the Mopar 2 inch lift. And if so - how was it working for em...

If you're running Hi-Line (Rubi) Fenders then you should be able to run 37's with that lift. The stock wheels might allow tire rub a bit on the front lower control arms. You'll probably also need to run a bump stop extension. Your stock 3.73 gearing won't like the 37's very well .... so that will need addressed sometime in the future.

Thx! I presently have 35 inch Fallen Wildpeaks on 17x8.5 Black Rhinos with -18 offset & 4 backspacing along with the mopar lift. By just measuring I have a little over 3 inches from my present set up to the closest potential rub spots. Much more space everywhere else. I bought it the way it is so was already planning a regear as the previous owner never did it.

I'm putting 37 inch Katani Trail Hogs on which weigh the same as my present 35s and will probably be a little under 2 inches greater in diameter when mounted and installed.

I'm hoping the set up will be free of rubbing but am aware I may have to address that. I like the stock color matched fenders though so I'm wondering if I could possibly just add 3/4 inch spacers to both front and rear if I end up needing a little more lift. I personally like a little rake so I'd do both front and rear.

This will be your problem if you go offroad and disco. You said you like your color matched flares.

Are u running this set up? If so - outside of hard off-roading do u have any issues?

Do u think if 3/4 inch spacers were added to front and rear it'd alleviate that? Thx!!

That is 2.5" lift. IMO a .75" puck will not reduce the risk of ripping off your color matched flares. I did a fender chop (planned from the beginning) to gain the clearance needed.

I've had the Mopar lift with a 3/4" spacer (for weight) on my Jeep for almost 4yrs. There is a couple other things to look at like backspacing, fenders, bumpstops, etc. And aIso what your plans are. I have a 2019 Overland. I have 37x13.50s. My wheels are 17x9, 4.5in backspace, and -12mm offset. I've been running DV8 slim fenders for four years with NO issues at all. A few months ago, I cut the fenders down because I rock crawl as well.

When I'm rockcrawling and flex (disconnected), the tires would get into my fender liners. I controlled that with longer bumpstops. Now, longer bumpstops do take away from your flex a little, but it's not much to where you would notice. I do the same obstacles and still have all four tires on the ground.

All depends on what you want to do.

That's a great pic man! And thx for taking the time to share that info. I live in Wisconsin and unfortunately there's not much here as far as off roading goes. So this is mostly my DD and have fun with my grand kids vehicle. They love the doors and tops off and going for ice cream.

My wife and I are planning a tip out to Maob next summer but we'll be riding trails and doing more of what I think people call overlanding. But I don't think there's any extreme off roading or rock crawling in my future.

And I know I don't need 37s. 35s are great. I just love the look of 37s and sold my Harley to get something fun for me and the fam so I just wanna make it what I want and enjoy it. If I was concerned about gas mileage and having a nice smooth ride I wouldn't have bought a Jeep:). Thx again for the help!

You're welcome.

And I'll tell you something else because you brought it up. This is my daily driver. Even though I have driven and wheeled it everywhere from TX, to FL, to WV, I still use it to drive to work, travel, and offroad. I have 152,000 miles so far.

I've had everything from a 22' camper, to a full height bed rack with RTT, Mid height bed rack with RTT, and now a self built teardrop camper. This Gladiator has pretty much done it all. And I used to have 35s. Really didn't have an issue with my 35s. Like yourself, IJust wanted bigger.

Build it to your needs and desires, Stay safe, and have fun with the fam!?

You can get away with it, but in my opinion it looks silly, 37's need 3.5 to 4.5". I am running 35's with a 3.5 on my sport.

That's the thing about opinions... We all have one:). That's the cool thing about being able to customize vehicles. It's one of the reasons I loved having a Harley for so many years. You'd see the same bike customized 100 different ways. So keep making yours what you like. I'm gonna!
