Auxiliary battery delete

My auxiliary battery died and took the main with it. Glad I was at home. I decided to delete the auxiliary battery, one ground cable and removed F42 fuse. I removed the fuse box to get to the auxiliary battery. From there I traced wires. I removed the auxiliary ground wire. I stepped up to an H7 AGM battery 850cca. I know it's a walmart battery but, I can get about a good 6 years or more out of it. Cleaned up the wiring. It was so easy, I could have done this blindfolded.

And you are sure that's exactly what happened?
You are very certain it was not the main failing and shorting the aux battery?
Or that booth went?

Auxiliary battery 6 volts
Main battery 9 volts
I recharged the main battery fully and tried to start it nothing happened.

My aux starting draining my main too. Did exactly the same but just left the dumb aux battery down there. Maybe I’ll get around to removing it someday. Terrible moronic design
