I love the idea of those things but they are just so massive... and not cheap. I'm torn between them and just new sways front and rear (Antirock), never have to disconnect, but almost the same travel...
I looked into the Antirock but it sounded like they were more of compromise between off road flex and on road stability. I very much appreciate how my Mojave handles on the road and didn’t want to give any of that up. The Autolynx are actually pretty compact and don’t rub at all with my lift, so I’m super happy with the choice.

For me personally, yes. Growing up I recall going through some crazy places in an old square body Chevy, so I feel like I have an idea of the capabilities already, and it’s still surpassing my perceptions.
I remember taking my sister over rocks and boulders that were ginormous, I had her look out the window and check out the flex on the passenger side. We were going over some crazy stuff... I told her the fact we barely feel it, that is why these are $60,000, we are driving this home at 80mph in about an hour while blasting Tay Tay on CarPlay.

@Volt0 Yes, these truck are more capable than most drivers. I encourage you to not use Off Road +
What does Off Road + do to mask limitations? I've only found it to just be more comftrable with the transmission shift points.

Am interested in the response from @AmishMike; for me it’s a difference in 4hi vs 4low. I use off-road+ in 4hi quite a bit and it’s a lot of fun (sand mode). I think @AmishMike is referring to 4low ( rock mode ) which tends to make the BLD super aggressive -> it’s awesome to go up ledges, but annoying if you only need 4low. I’ve used 4low with Off-road+ one time where it benefited ( wasn’t truely needed ), and the other times it was just kind of annoying and hard on the engine/tranny temps.

Fwiw, that one time could have been solved with some 2-foot driving or some gentle e-brake action along with a soft throttle input.

second note: I’m still trying to figure out when/where I would actually want to use the hill decent ( off road cruise control ); Its kewl, but I get annoyed with all of the automatic break input.

People Work?
I find the rear shocks are not properly setup from the factory, I get way more bounce than my ZR2 gave. I've found that a bit of weight, like up to 200lbs at the front of the bed area improves things at speed.
I forgot to add on the earlier response, but for anyone who wants reduced booty bounce, especially on lifted trucks, these are fantastic!
I'd say that they have mitigated the back end hop feeling on mine by 90%.

Agree - Off-road + in 4HI is a drug! I will put it in 4HI/Off-raod + even if I don't need it just for those shift points. It makes flying down a dirt road A LOT of fun! I haven't used Off-road + in 4LO much and don't really think I've missed much.

I want to go Mojave, since the sand dunes are closer to home than any type of rock crawling terrain. However, I REALLY want that electronic sway bar disconnect that the rubicon offers. Michigan trails/county roads can be rough and I think I’d benefit from disconnecting the sway bar at the push if a button.

Another reason to get the Apex Autolynx, the Rubicon electronic sway bar discos re-connect at 18mph, which basically makes them useless for higher speed driving on washboard county roads. Get your Mojave and add some sort of front discos and you are set.

I had my Mojave up on a national seashore a few times in July. The speed limit is 25 but I got it to 45 in 4H after I was several miles from anyone else. It was so smooth at that speed and I could have easily pushed higher except for fear of being thrown under a federal jail.

I am just getting used to my Mojave in local sand since the beaches near me just opened for traffic. Tighter traffic lanes between dunes and water with people all over so no higher speeds—the speed limit is 20 and I am probably averaging 17. The sand is a ton deeper here than two islands north. I put it in OffRoad+ so I can lock my rear diff (with an annoying bypass required—Jeep, just release it, ugh). I am finding it runs worse (sliding around) and runs hotter on the gauges. I never use 4L because I don’t need the torque. People above are saying OR+ in 4H is like crack. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Any advice?
