Also noteworthy, is where the ceramic appears to be cracked or spalling at the plug terminal joint. I agree with the other posters who have been curious about how uncharacteristically wet the plugs appear.

Many oddities in this presentation. I'm calling shens.

I drove to work this morning, had the RPM’s up to 6000 at least 3+ times, 4000 + at least 20 times, 2100 RPM along the flat freeway a bunch of times. It sings best over 5000.

If I was to try and keep it at 2000 and under, I’d be putzing along on the shoulder with my hazard lights on.

So, I got to work and realized I forgot to stop and get my regular coffee for work and had to go get one. This time, I wanted to test what it would be like to go get that coffee and NOT exceed 2000 RPM.

OMG, I was an absolute menace on the road! Talk about inciting road rage. It literally took a min and a half to get up to 90km/h on the freeway that does 110+ !

I couldn't make it a mile away from home - just try idling up the hills here........ LOL I'll report on it in 2 or 3 days ?

Your criminal activities were in the name of science and only very limited, so you get a pass. I also bet you weren't in the left lane...

I could not respond to the poll because he left out one very important possible response -

Is my Engine Failing?

It's already gone.

The internet is proof that Jeep engines are junk and are failed from the factory.
The internet says so, so it has to be true.
Trade it for a Prius ASAP!

Face it, when there are only 15 million of them out there and not a single one has reached the 100,000,000,000 mile mark, they can't be worth anything.

put new sparks plugs in and it ran well for 20 miles then blinking engine light came on. Things got worse. And now I am at a loss of where to go from here.
....
I had two bolts break on my from the upper intake. Can missing or broken bolts cause such disruption?
I think I found the issue. Manifold leaks will throw everything into chaos.

If you break something during maintenance, it's always a good idea to get it fixed. Very few things can be broken and not matter.

Reminds me of Harry trying to fix the toilet in Dumb and Dumber:

"I don't know what this is, so it must not be needed."

I'm better at reading tea leaves than plugs but based on the post and the pics my uneducated expert opinion is that OP is a walnut.

Did you regap or atleast check the gap on the new plugs before you installed them ? Were they tighten to the correct torque spec ?
Definitely need to fix your broken bolt issue before anything... based on your questions... sounds like you might want to take your Jeep to a well qualified mechanic.

No, the original post and question came from a person with one post.
The person with the engine issues and spark plug tea leaf readings isn't TRSC, he ain't got engine troubles or spark plug issues.

Good looking out, Shadowspapa.

Uparms, I went with M1, 0w40 Euro. I’ve documented my results in another forum post. Also provided a relatively extended mileage UOA for anyone curious.
