Jeep gladiator mojave 3 inch aev lift on 40s

I just wanted to let all fellow mojave owners know that the aev 3 inch dual sport lift will work on the mojave with slightly modifying the front shocks.

I used a 9/16 drill bit to drill out the upper shock mount on the Bilstein 8100 shocks.

Everything else bolted up perfectly without any issues or modification.

40s will fit with some trimming or a fender chop.

I am going to try and add a 1 inch front space to help with my rubbing issues.

I will post a update when I do so.

The rubbing is happening during steering. The tire contacts the factory rocker guard rail witch can be trimed back. It then contacts the inner lower fender witch I am hoping the 1 inch lift spacer with fix. The aev lift kit keeps the factory rake of the truck so the spacer should level it out. But if it doesn't create enough room a fender chop definitely will.

And I am still waiting on my front lower bump stop extensions to check articulation clearances.

Yeah, it’s a great looking build. I can think of a few other places that it might rub, like the garage door.

Lmao It definitely dose it the pictures. But it clears with about 8 inches on a 9 ft door.

Oh trust me, I’m admiring that garage for sure, but I couldn’t tell if that build was going to be too tall to get in and out.

Update on my Build I got the 1.5 inch teraflex front coil spacer installed along with the steer smarts adjustable track bar.

Between these two things it has fixed the rubbing during driving.

Also the Jeep sits perfectly level now.

I have attached some update photos.

Including one of me Towing our stock trailer.

I, obviously, haven’t changed my shocks, but I had thought all of the bolts on the front shocks were bigger on the Mojave. Is it just the top bolts?

All of the front shock bolts on the Mojave are bigger but with the AEV kit running the bill Stein 8100 they give you a lower shock offset bracket with a new bolt that is the correct size for the shock bushing.

One other thing I did end up adding was the metal cloak upper shock extension brackets because I am running the inch and a half spacer up front to get rid of that factory rake that AEV still keeps with their kits

Lol hd aev springs. They are a huge improvement over the factory Springs they are rated for carrying +400-700 pounds of additional weight.

I’m running the 2.5" springs with 37 ko2 on my JTR and want to install the 3" HD springs and 39" ko2’s and with the info you have posted it should work no problem. Awesome mojave!
