what's up guys just wanna share some information on my current situation maybe someone else has going thru this

I own a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Diesel been doing some upgrades since I bought it (long arm suspension ,falcon shocks,Driveshafts, gears & axels) Pretty much the whole suspension is TERAFLEX , I was running 37 inch Nitto Ridge Grappler but decided to go to the 38 inches this year and I love them.
BUT I needed to upgrade my gears to 4.56 & YUKON chromoly axles to avoid any future problems.

all the work has been done by 4 WHEEL PARTS I had installation problems since the beginning but thats another story .

Finally saved enough money to upgrade my BRAKES to TERAFLEX BIG DELTA KIT (recommended by 4WP) got them at Labor Day so I saved like 15% great deal !

installation took a day and they look great (Wednesday ) , pick up the truck at the end of the day & while I was driving home noticed that the pedal felt mushy and vibrated if I go all away down ....scary shit , called 4WP they said bring it back its the ABS needs to be bleed (Jscan or something) it should take around 2 hours no big deal (Friday) that same day got a gift from my GF (4.5inch springs from TERAFLEX) I was on 3.5 inches so another inch always help (thats wha she said lol) so I ask them to install them & they give me like $100 off on the installation for the brake inconvenience , so fucking great I was a happy camper !

comeback at 6 pm to pick up the truck and they were having issues with the Computer to do the ABS bleed,,, needed to be upgraded or something , they were testing the brakes on the truck and it seems fine it wasn't vibrating anymore and the pedal felt right when you brake (thats what the tech told me) but they never did the ABS BLEED (they didn't told me this) , so we finished the paperwork and I soonest I turn on the truck I got a bunch of LIGHT ERRORS (SERVICE ABS,SERVICE AWD and SERVICE THROTTLE CONTROL ) so I told them about it and they were "surprised"
one of the manager told the techs that they were supposed to Bleed the ABS and they told him the computer needed an update (caught them in the lie) It was kind of late & they wanted to go home the manager told me bring it MONDAY like that the computer will be ready I said no problem ill see you guys Monday .

I wasn't able to drive my truck the entire weekend since I was limited like to 45mph to 55mph max speed & was kind of sick(flu)so no big deal.
I installed some bad ass front fenders from road armor that Sunday more on that later ...

MONDAY., dropped the truck early in the morning 9am to be exact and waited for them to call me , nothing happened

TUESDAY ., they finally call and told me that the tech was still working in updating the computer , and also ordered some ABS cables (sensor)

Wednesday ., they dint contact me at all to tell me what's going on MANAGER told me they had 2 techs from MOPAR checking my truck and he will call me back when he had more info . HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK.

TODAY ., Its been 5 days without a truck or knowing what's going on (its my daily driver) . so I decided to stop by and ask , none of the managers came out to talk to me instead a salesperson explain me as best as he can what's going on , saying that they get rid of all the lights except for the SERVICE THROTTLE CONTROL light
and they need to keep the truck ... I got upset cause I need my truck & straight answers salesperson told me that the MOPAR techs were doing him a favor by checking my truck & wont give him straight answers till tomorrow (wtf that gotta do with me) he also tells me that it could be the FENDERS that maybe I drilled some cable or the lights are interrupting the computer LMAO ! I told him the fenders are plug and play & the drilling is minimal to none(besides all the ERROR lights were on since Friday ) , I also reminded him that they change my springs the same day I don't think he knew so he back off a little bit .

thats my situation its sucks cause I don't have a truck and this point I know they're wasting my time ,

has anyone have the same issue here ???

any tips or recommendations >>> >???

ill keep you guys updated .

They used to be decent, somewhere after they bought out rubicon express? Things just entered a spiral…. Kind of a shame.

Good shops are still out there- just growing fewer and farther between. Thankfully you both are in so-cal and have more options than most.

Just want to say avoid 4WP at all cost. Near minimum wage unexperienced techs, and little training. Frind got his truck built there. They put the rear way bar link on flipped and it rubbed through the rubber brake line due to the pressure of rubbing on it constantly. Was luky he was able to stop it when it blew. Note there was over a handful of other mess ips they did one his single visit there

I don't mean to be flippant, and it may not be fair to all 4WP locations, but you let 4WP work on your truck. This is not a Terraflex problem.
not saying it is ...

I would recommend not mentioning any of the 4WP shenanigans to the dealership when you have them look at the throttle issue.

Ultimately, 4WP is only 4WP in California ... and it's just the name, nowadays.

While it's not "Teraflex's problem" the parts are Teraflex. Does that mean they have to fix whatever 4WP's crack team of install specialists did? Nope. But don't ever forget you've got a warranty on those parts, and you've got a warranty on the install.

Contrary to what others have said, you should absolutely tell the dealership what "shenanigans" 4WP did; what if they only fixed the other issues with duct tape and baling wire? What if they created an unsafe situation where parts could fail at an inopportune time?

Also: the problem is 4WP's. If they can't fix the problem they created, they're responsible to make you whole again. That means that you need to make sure you give them the option of fixing the problem OR you're going to take it to the dealership and 4WP is going to get to pay that bill (and suffer any resultant social media coverage from the failed install).

Their meddling could have caused you to lose warranty coverage on the stuff they touched or any system that is affected by what they installed.

Now, telling the dealership is sort of a double-edged sword. They'll start talking voided warranty, no coverage, etc. They'll certainly notice the work that's been done on the Jeep (and it looks pretty spectacular, btw!), and they could just say they wont work on it in the first place. BUT ... you bought the Jeep, you love the Jeep, and you're here because the dealership service department knows Jeeps. You want to make an ally and become best friends with the service department; they're the ones who will work with you.

Sounds like they were struggling to get the brakes bled properly, so any brake, 4WD, ABS, etc. lights could have well been caused by them fooling with the brake system. Sounds like they may be poorly qualified for swapping, bleeding, and verifying the systems. It's one thing to do it on an old rig (just getting air out of lines, call it good). But it's another on new, heavily computer controlled vehicles.

Honestly - I'd bet the service throttle control has nothing to do with them. I could totally be wrong - but I do know that has come up on many different Eco Diesel vehicles. You may have just gotten 'lucky' and it popped up at the same time as dealing with the other issues.

Anyway. Did they make the brakes right? See if the dealer can resolve the throttle control issue. Good luck.

That's why I do all my own works
I don't know why you have all these problems put the Teraflex Delta brake are a super great brake upgrade
1. On the wrangler in order to do an ABS bleed with a scanner you will need a 12/8 gateway bypass cable
2. When I installed my Delta brakes over 1.5 years ago I did have one problem
On the caliper surface where the hose and copper gasket set the machine surface was full of machine marks making it impossible to get a good seal and brake fluid would seep out (see picture)
I took a small fine flat stone and removed all the machine marks and then finished with 600 sand paper ( no more leaks )
I sent pictures to Teraflex and don't know if they have addressed this issue
The Delta brake was a great choice and if they get it right you will smile every time you put your foot on the brakes
3. If you have the jeep mushy brake syndrome you will need to do an ABS bleed with a scanner and 12/8 cable to remove the air in the ABS system. Doing a traditional bleed or power bleed will not remove the air from the ABS system

Maybe I am lucky, but when I upgraded to the PowerBrake system, I didn't have to do any special bleeding. I just followed the instructions, which had a mileage bleed schedule if I remember right. Second bleed after so many miles and so on. I think I bleed them three times (after the initial bleed) and they were perfect.

I’ve had horrible experiences with 4wp. The one by me went out of business. I would basically have to redo everything they did. I just do my own work now. Hard to fond a shop that is trustworthy.

PowerBrake are very impressive and look great. about $500 more than the Delta brake put do come with hoses

The Delta brakes uses Toyota Tundra pads and also incorporate anti knock back spring behind each caliper piston giving you that right at the top firm brake pedal
I think ether one would be a great upgrade to any modified jeep
