I'm looking for ideas for roll bars on gladiators. Leaning toward the Vigor by Black Horse at the moment.

I went with Maximus 3 for the side rails. I have the Decked system which raises the floor of my bed. The rails aid in holding and securing cargo. It was easy to install and provides for ease of mods

oooh... i like that. and those lights in there. Did you wire those into the same wires as the bed lights? or are they on a separate switch?

They are wired to the third auxiliary switch. Great lights. Really light up the back

What these pictures doesn't show well is the actual "roll bar" is 1/4" DOM Tubing, which is pretty thick for a roll bar and 1/8" mandrel bent cold rolled steel welded on the outside.

One off custom made.

I really like the maximus-3 one too, excellent quality - also got their aluminum cargo deck system (not shown) for mounting my big spare in the back on c-channels w/ a y-strap from Mac's. It's solid as can be. *a couple pics from "out in the wild"

I thought a true roll bar had to be frame-attached. The sides of these beds can crush and collapse pretty easily. There's little structure to them.
So aren't these really light bars, or utility bars?

TRUTH.. yeah, really it's a "sport" bar - style wise sort of harkening back to the old Scrambler pickup based off the CJ

I LOVE those things. There's one of those Jeeps sitting in a yard I've been keeping my eye on - been sitting for a year. My wife's 70 year old aunt still drives one that was her husband's - would seem pretty uncouth to ask her to put me in her will, ouch.

I had the factory bar in my 87 Comanche and I think they technically called it a light bar - I have the marketing book from that time period somewhere.

Anyway, that's sort of what I was wondering.
