Just throwing this FYI out there as it's a first for me.
Check those diff cover bolts a few weeks after install!!!!
I was just doin basic checking and poking and noticed a allen bolts for my metal cloak rear diff cover was stick out about a 1/4" taller then all the rest. Sure enough she was loose and 95% of all the other bolts were also loose...
This isn't my first rodeo and I am sure I tightened them good the first time.
Not sure the cause. Maybe the OEM gasket I reused or maybe because I didn't use any blue loctite, but what ever they were loose. I have done covers before with gaskets and never had this problem then.
Anyways they are all retightened and blue Loctite added and now those covers will be on a schedule to keep an eye on.
Good news was no oil leaked and no trashed diffs.
Good luck out there.
