After much debate I decided to keep my Jeep and put on the clayton lift that had been sitting in my closet. I originally ordered the Clayton 2.5” overland plus kit which was in the classifieds on this forum. In the end I decided to go Clayton 1.5” springs in the front and Icon 1.5” springs in the rear and installed all control arms, track bars, and sway bar links. Very happy I went 1.5”. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Bilstein 5100s front and rear. The ride was very good on the way home from the shop. 34/10.50/17 Toyo AT3s on Rubi take off wheels. I did not want to go bigger with tires due to the 3.73 gearing on my HA. Very happy.

This build looks awesome!

For anybody wondering, our brand new 1.5" rear coils are finished, and full 1.5" kits can be found on our website for pre-order, to begin shipping within a week or two :)

Very clean! Looking to do the same set up. When you say all the control arms, do you mean all 8 control arms? Why did you choose Icon on the rear? Did you add bump stops? Thank you!

I had originally ordered the Clayton 2.5" overland plus kit. Decided I didn't want that much lift and ordered Clayton 1.5" springs for front and Icon 1.5" springs for the rear because Clayton had not released their 1.5" rear springs yet. Yes I added the bump stops.

Love my 3.5” overland with Falcon 3 shocks.

and it’s a Sedan Killer(one idiot killed his Toyota Avalon, the other a Ford Focus Sedan… only that one (red) was stolen and the driver took off on foot). Puts the rear bumper right in place for idiots on their phones to total their cars. Avalon driver, no insurance, no DL, illegally in country,, arrested went to jail. Stolen car, owners insurance won’t pay for my damage, so uninsured motorists on my insurance and cost to me is at least $600. Jeep does not have frame damage, but rear stock bumper and trailer hitch need to be replaced (hitch looks okay). $3500! No idea when they will get parts.

That is a really well thought out setup and gives maybe a perfect balance of street and off-road performance.

Bravo! Nice job! Great looking Jeep!

Going to be installing my 3.5 overland kit tomorrow, has anyone adjusted their control arms differently then what Clayton lists as starting points?
