Anyone have information regarding the JT 2" lift that Iron 4x4 offers?

https://ironman4x4america.com/suspension/kits/

I'm wondering if I can fit 35s with this lift kit.

I asked about their return policy and they will not accept used items, so I can't install it, see if 35s fit, and return it if they don't.

2" is plenty to fit 35s. A stock Mojave is only an extra 1" in the front. You can fit 35s stock on those. And you have wide track axles on the Rubicon. So should be good to go. Ironmans kit is only springs and shocks. At 2", there are some additional components to think about. Mopar 2" kit seems popular.

I’m sure it’s a cost conscious kit, but I’d use caution regarding quality. I’ve had things from them in the past (not suspension) and they weren’t high quality.

Not to mention they dont even know the specifications of products they sell nor can you get replacement parts from them.

I would not use Ironman 4x4 for any suspension components. If you needed to replace something in the future, if their suspension department is anything like their awning department, you will have to get an entirely new lift kit for one part. Case in point, they could not order, nor tell me the specifications, of a bolt they use for their awnings. Thats pretty pathetic IMO. Totally left me hanging. I still like their awning though haha.

I had the same problem. Yet the awning is now gone. I’m never buying from them again.

I would do the same if I could find another awning that is in the same weight category. But man even the RTT situation is the same. Most these companies dont even know what to do if someone needed to order, say a corner piece, of their tent for damage repairs, let alone the honeycomb aluminum panel. It's pretty darn frustrating really.

You can get a 2.5” lift from Clayton, MC, Evo, AEV, or one of the other more reputable Jeep suspension names for about the same cost. And you’ll get more parts that you ideally need for the lift.

Clayton Ride Right costs about that much with more components i.e. track bars and adjustable control arms. https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-25-ride-right-lift-kit-2020-jt-1

You'd have to add shocks though. Bilstein 5100 are about $400 a set. There is also a parts list for the MOPAR Lift on here that would save you enough to buy some Bilstein shocks and a front adjustable track bar for about $1500-1600. If $1700 is your ballpark you could probably get an adustable rear track bar as well.

I'm running the foam cell pro shocks (in comfort) and they are excellent. Coupled with standard JTR springs I have a Jeep that now rides the tarmac really well and dune bashes at the weekend. The foam cell pro is a seriously robust shock. I didn't go with the springs only because with the 1.5" level as well (total 3.5"), they'd be too long for the shocks.

I'm also running Ironman side steps/ sliders, they have been on for about 18 months and no rust.

They are good value but don't underestimate the Aussies when it comes to suspension, they know a thing or two about keeping moving in the outback.

Why are they mounted upside down?

These aren't monotube gas shocks, they should be able to be mounted in either orientation

I would be more concerned with the the bump stop, the shock mounts were never designed to handle that sort of load. There is another cost to add to this kit, proper extended bumpstops
