First time I've seen anyone mentioned Alaskan campers for a jt. My dad worked for them many years ago, never considered one for the JT.
oh I wasnt thinking an alaskan for the JT. I was thinking in the future trading the JT for a 2500 and getting an alaskan then towing my TJ behind. I think it works be way too heavy for a JT

Wow, some incredible builds here. Some very smart and innovative folks did some hard work. Both owners and builders worked hard on these.

Nice and simple design.

They each need to be about 200lbs lighter. Great looking and well constructed, but they're really heavy.

I do agree... but at the same time they are lighter than a RTT and canopy combo.

I bet @Mules could secure himself quite a few orders if he were interested in that sort of thing. I think his design is lighter than any of the others on market.

It's very cool how Phoenix pop-up campers fit a toilet/shower and kitchen in such a small camper. A hot shower in my camper would be wonderful on those cold days.

Just a point to consider. I left out the shower when I designed my Hallmark truck camper because the humidity could be an issue and possibly lead to mold. I have an outdoor shower with a shower tent that is attached to the camper and really like it. Granted I’m not going to use it in the winter but for most of our travels it works great and weighs very little

An outside shower stall is definitely the way to go for warm weather camping. The limited space inside is very valuable.

Another problem with adding a winter shower is hot water. Yet another appliance to add to add already crowded interior.
