Hey guys. This is a tall and skinny tire which appeals to me because it would perform well in the 6 months of winter that we get here in Vermont. As a side benefit, it would be much more quiet than the Falken Wildpeak MT tires that came on the truck. My 2023 Mojave is stock except for 1-1/2" BORA wheel spacers. I have no intentions of lifting the truck. I'm kinda digging the look and impressive stats of this Mickey Thompson tire. Is anyone running this size or have an opinon? If so, a couple of pics would be appreciated.

Yup. I know that it's annoying that people keep asking for pics of of other people's rigs. However, this is a relatively new size for MT and before I go dropping almost $1800 on 5 new tires I wanted to reach out to the community for more info. I would do the same for someone in a similar situation.

Go to the search bar & type in "255/85R17". There are quite a few pics of them in a few different threads.

I run them on my JKR and I'm very impressed with them, both off-road and on-road.

I recently had these exact BBs installed on my Mojave w/level spaced front (sry no pics yet). I felt there was an immediate improvement in handling and a significant reduction in the "roughness" of bumps and noise compared to the Falken M/T. After 500 miles, including some rain and snow, I am thrilled with them so far.

Thanks guys for the the requested pics and help. I was worried that a 255 aspect tire would look disproportional. Just the opposite, they really look like they belong. Nice rides BTW. I'm happy to be part of the community. Yes, as soon as I get them on my rig I'll come back and post up some pics.

Noise reduction is key for me. Thanks for the feedback.

have had these tires for roughly 4 months now, absolutely love them.. Have been able to test in deep snow and i'm VERY impressed. I'll post some pics and a link to video.

They're almost as quiet as all terrains, and i have zero complaints about the road noise.. VERY happy with my purchase, even if they're spendy

Video of a recent run through adventure trail in wisconsin after ~12" of snow, 2 min mark roughly starts the low maint trails that haven't been plowed. I was running 30 psi so I didn't air down for this.. I did timelapse so no in cabin noise checks, but you'll have no road noise issue with these..

What is the outside diameter of these? Nice looking tire! I had this size on my JK with the BFG KM2. I really liked them.

Like a job? What's that?
This is mine on 35x10.50x17 Kenda Klever RTs. They're very very close in size to the 255/85s. I love them. I've heard great things about those Baja Bosses too though.

I have a set of Klevers on my old JK and a set waiting for my JT to be lifted. They are 315´s. We ran these on the JK in Moab in October and they were amazing on the rocks, in the dirt, and in the sand. They were also wonderful on the highway. I really like that 35x10.5 size. I would have gone for that but I got 10 of these tires on clearance at Walmart.com awhile back for $800. Yep, 10 brand new 35´s for $800. I wish I had bought 4 more! Lol!

Actual measured OD of the 255/85R17 Baja Boss AT is 34.6"

FYI, this size, 255/85R17, was not available in the KM2. The KM2 was available in 255/80R17, which was only 33.3". I ran them on my JK before changing to the Baja Boss AT.
