Added some KC Flex Era 4s to my factory Mojave bumper

Have to admit, this took more time than I was expecting. I got the brackets from Quadratec that mount on the grill's mounting bar in front of the radiator. Also installed the factory aux switches (that was the hard part!) I reprogrammed the DRLs to be my blinkers so everything lights up amber. Planning on another set of KCs for my a-pillars, but not sure which size to get yet. The light mounting bracket is a great solution to get some lights on the front without having to switch the bumper, as that was a bit too expensive for now. What do y'all think?

I’ve absolutely loved mine. Enjoy. I use the small amber lights as marker lights that are almost always on. The clear lense covers are great for protection. I also have the amber covers for road use, which I really like. Way less glare with reflective road signs. Obviously I don’t ever use them if any other cars are on the road.

Nice! I plan to get the same brackets and do something similar but with KC 6" lights. Getting my aux switches installed tomorrow . (worked them into the purchase)

Having the switches installed by the dealer is a great idea! Took me the better part of a Saturday and 12 pack. Needless to say, I was shocked when everything worked! (not literally)

I added a pair of Gravity LED Pro 6's to the bull bar on my bumper and a couple of 6" Apollo Pros on the cowl. Throws out a lot of light in conjunction with the LED lights that came with my Rubicon.

I wish I had the factory LEDs... I swapped my glow worms for some LED bulbs all around and it helped a lot, but I'm sure it's nowhere near as bright.

Curious. Are there amber “backlights” in the flex’s? If so how do you control them via the aux switches if there is “on” and “off” at the switch?

Yes. They’re nice. KC gives you a three way switch so either can be on, or off. I didn’t use their harness. I have the ambers on aux 4 and the mains on aux 1.

The ambers light up s diamond shaped KC logo. It’s a nice touch. I also added the red rings to match the Jeep lettering. I set aux 4 to remember the last setting, so unless I turn them off, they’re on every time I start it.

The halo amber backlight isn't quite as bright as I was hoping for, but it seems to change intensity depending on what angle you catch them. I tied the backlights into the same switch as the 4's backlights so they all come on together. Looks pretty cool at night!

Great idea. I love my fours on the bumper. The ones are a very nice touch. I’d love to see a night time picture with the ambers.
