Sticker shock!
Not a fan of the packages bundles either, I like to choose what I want.
Why can't we pick gear ratios like the JL crowd?
No more tan leather.
No more diesel. :(

It’s ridiculous that all the X trims only have color match fenders and hardtop…when I was looking last fall I absolutely was set on those items being black. Maybe I’m old school but I think they look so much better with the color and black contrast. Plus cheaper to replace if need be too!
I was on the fence about unpainted versus painted, but:

- The original painted fenders on my wife's '97 TJ Sahara are probably in better shape (paint-wise) than anything else on the vehicle.
- Unpainted Laredo trim pieces on my WJ are pretty badly faded (and not worth replacing at this point).

No AEV Upfits on the configurator. I wonder if there are plans to add them. Wasn't Jeep supposed to start a big aftermarket program where you could customize your Jeep from the factory?

I'd reckon the leather and power seats are $3k of it. Then add the cold weather group and the other stuff the $10k is easy to get to. The bumpers are probably $2.5 to $3k of it.
seems like a dump value to me. i paid 50k and got everything but bed sliders and a steel bumper. I feel like they are forcing increased cost while limiting options. half the fun of a jeep is that you could pick and choose when ya built it. save money with plastic fenders but swing leather heated seats. now its fork it for all the bells and whistles or go barebones. the only upside i would see, would've been if they had dropped the base price for the standard rub and mojave. would've made a killer deal for those who plan on going aftermarket for everything. 48-50k is what i would've priced the the non X models. Manual being standard is always appreciated though. I'll always give Jeep kudos for that.

Jeep lost the plot on the Willys. I was looking forward to that being the new best deal in all of Gladiator-dom. In my opinion, if it came in at a solid $45-$47k, It had so much promise. But it's $53k for an auto hard top with the convenience package... (I won't bring up that this is the same amount as a '23 Rubicon is anywhere in America right now, and more than a lot of us paid for our Rubicons in the last 12 months.)

If I'm a Jeep salesman and somebody walks in for a '24 Willys, Im going to try to upsell the Rubicon. Here's why: It's $7,000 to go from the Willys to the Rubicon. Me, the salesman, well, I'm going to regularly get quotes sent over from the local shops to regear and add a front locker. That quote is going to be more than $7,000, and I'm going to hand that customer that quote and show them why the Rubicon is a better option for them. And then I'm going to sell that customer on the transfer case, and the added bonus of the sway bar disconnect. And what does that do? It muddies the waters, man. It takes the Willys from being a few-grand-too-expensive-but-I-can-talk-myself-into-it perfect option for 99.9% of the population and creates frustration for the customer.

Also, I'm taking bets that I won't see a Rubicon X on the trail before November of 2027. That's going to be the "too much money and not enough sense" trim level.
100% agree with you. Willy's should've been 38-40k. non Xs 48-50k.

You can add the steel bumpers to a regular Mojave, X not required to get them:

Unpainted vote ?

Unbelievable how much the prices have increased in such a short time. I know Jeep is not a singularity in this regard but sticker shock is an understatement. Configuring both a sport and sport S to as close to what I purchased in Q1 2020 is now over $13k more. Glad I bought when I did.

Apologies for the rant and I know this is just the way it is.
