Wow! I can't even build anything near to what I bought in October. No High Altitude, can't get a sport anything with a steel front bumper, no trail camera?, no diesel. I better buy a second at a deep discount for a spare. ;)

Unbelievable how much the prices have increased in such a short time. I know Jeep is not a singularity in this regard but sticker shock is an understatement. Configuring both a sport and sport S to as close to what I purchased in Q1 2020 is now over $13k more. Glad I bought when I did.

Apologies for the rant and I know this is just the way it is.
And the worst part is, it's all manufactured price increases. In 2010, my ex wife bought a Honda Civic SI 4-door for $24,000. You know how much a CIVIC SI is today? $29k. So 14 years ago, a brand new Civic SI was 82% of the price it is today. And the 2010 SI didn't hold a candle to the tech and features of the new ones.

A 2010 Rubicon? booked for about $30,600. Today? $51,890. That means that 14 years ago, a brand new Rubicon was 58% of the price it is today.

It's just nuts.

Are Aux switches no longer available? I don't see them in any of the packages.

Aux are standard on everything Willy's on up from what I understand. Also appears LED and tow package are as well. No option for them on Willy's or Mojave but they are options on the Sport S.

Not a fan of Body Color Top and Fenders, that said, it cost about 2900 more for all the options on a Rubicon X to get the following forced down your throat:
-Power Seats
-Body Colored Top
-Body Colored Fender Flares
-Hardtop Headliner

I'd reckon the leather and power seats are $3k of it. Then add the cold weather group and the other stuff the $10k is easy to get to. The bumpers are probably $2.5 to $3k of it.
Yes, when you add all the options that you can to a Mojave, you are $1,825 away from the X. For that $1,825 you also get leather seats, power seats, painted hard top, hard top headliner, painted fenders, and select trac transfer case.

One of the biggest things that I see with looking at these vs something like a Tacoma is, with a Tacoma you will be paying the sticker price or close to. With Jeep, even with these 2024's, it wouldnt be hard to get 10% off MSRP. Have to take that into account, IMO.

It’s like Jeep is taking the Invicta watch sales model and overpricing so they can discount a ton.

Get this “amazing” Invicta for only $90. That’s a savings of over 4,000% the list price. Much wow!!

I got 22.5% off my MY23. Should held out for the steeper “discount.” lol

So Willys is the one to get / best value for non hardcore… especially with the new grille already being mostly black. Tho you gotta be able to stomach black wheels (I can’t) or get some takeoffs.
I’m bummed on the Willys. I was expecting 33” tires and 4.1 gear ratio. Which is like a rubicon but without the front locker

I just built a JTR as close as possible to my 2023. Came in +17k over what I paid in December.
