Ok that makes sense then. Just used to images being Stars on the left. Thanks

The idea is that if they were little flags on poles (like you see on the general’s car in a movie) then while in motion, the flags would be trailing towards the rear of the vehicle and when viewed from the passenger side it would appear that way. Literally, every flag blowing in the wind will appear this way but photographers will “always” take the pic from the other side so that the flag appears as you would “expect” to see it.

The "I" in Gladiator does not match the font of the other letters.

Also, ships and aircraft that display flags on both sides will have the reverse flag on the right side of the vessel.

Police departments can't even get this right half the time on their cars. Glad Jeep did.

When hanging a flag, vertical or horizontal, stars should always be in the top left. When a flag is on a moving vehicle, stars should be facing the direction of travel.

It's meant to always look as if you are carrying the flag and the wind is blowing it rearward... so basically on a moving vehicle/person the stars will always be forward in the direction of travel.

Beat me to it. But if you think about it it is a really really cool minute detail that not many realize or pay attention to. Pride for country.
