I started getting ducks once I put on bigger tires/lifted my Jeep.

Was funny the first time. But now I don't really care. Will probably save em so I can put them on the next Ford Bronco I come in close proximity to.

Thanks, to whomever ducked me at the Spokane VA hospital today... First time.

Near the beginning of this thread, admittedly, I thought the duck thing was a little weird. I kinda get it now. Made me smile. I guess that's the point.

My wife's Jeep was in Florida for a week, got ducked 3 times, twice within an hour.
She's had it since January 2023
I've had two Gladiators - 2020 and this 2022, so I've owned pretty much identical Gladiators since November 2019 - 1 duck..
I end up buying my own (well, digging for them in a game thing at Pizza Ranch)

I know how to keep them under control, so no fear of ducks.......

Have a feeling you have a file folder on your computer dedicated to just Farside duck themes.

And a library of Far Side books - many courtesy my sons (also a few Garfield books - love cynical and sarcastic cats)

After I put a "'seed" duck on my dash, I was ducked twice in a week or so. If I park near another Jeep (Wrangler or Gladiator), I check their dash for ducks. That tells me whether they are likely to be participants. If so, I select one from my stash that is different from what they have on display, and put it on their door handle. I consider it to be just a "hello, nice Jeep" greeting which is all too rare most places.

3 months as a jeep owner and no duck left on my truck yet. Maybe one day. Glad you got your first.

I've been ducked about 30 times. Almost all of them came when I had the doors off and the tube doors on. I enjoy ducking other Jeeps but only if they're modded somehow.

Are you me? This is exactly how I do it.

I’ve been ducked 4 times total, all during the summer so I think for me up here in NH it’s just too cold for people to take the time…
Also not sure if anyone else has noticed but the whole duck thing has moved on too not only other jeeps but vehicles like the Mini cooper… have a friend that gets ducked all the time, ?‍♂

Dang!!! I do miss Pizza Ranch!! It’s been forever since I’ve been to one…LOL
We love that place. My wife keeps calling it "chicken ranch" because she goes for their chicken, not so much the pizza.
I told her I thought that some people might remember "chicken ranch" as another sort of place. (movie reference for the older people here)

Well, I’ll agree with your wife that the chicken is why I went!!! I liked the pizza but there was just something about their fried chicken.

We moved down here to AZ about 14 years ago and there is a high percentage of IA-NE-IL transplants here, so much so that there are several “sister restaurants” of places in Iowa City that we’ve been to. I keep hoping someone will bring Pizza Ranch to AZ!!!
