Two things that should be simple, and one probably pipe dream.

1) Radio that can stay on without the engine being on. I should be able to take the Jeep to a drive in movie without needing to take a backup radio.

2) Heat strips on LED bulbs. In a part of Canada that gets winter, I can choose between LED lights that light the road until they fill with snow on a winter highway, or non-LED lights that melt it, have zero snow buildup, but illuminate approximately 10 feet in front of me. This is a very annoying choice.

3) Multi-section rear of a hard top. And if this is made for the new ones, reverse-compatible to old. C'mon, we have a truck bed for storage, it cannot be impossible to make something freedom-panel-esque (even if the removal isn't as simple because bolts are required) so it can fit in the back and be taken with us so we don't have to worry about weather on say a 5 day camping trip.

as expected, radio silence after 362 posts and 2 months ...
I'd bet the social media team running the account has been instructed to ask the question, collate the answers, and pass them up the food chain. They can't make design decisions or promises about future features until they've been instructed to do so.

I never expected an answer, especially one in writing in a public forum.

I took it to the dealership on December 15, they had to order a part. Jan 24, they said part was supposed to arrive 2/1 and I would be called once it arrived. I have heard nothing since then so I texted the service rep on 2/23 and he never responded. I have now left voicemails in the last week at the dealership with the service desk (Tuesday), service director (Thursday) , and store manager as of Saturday. None of them called me back yet.

I did call the Jeep Wave number yesterday and they opened a case# to help. They said a service representative from Jeep Wave would call back in 24-48 hours, so I guess we will see.

I have a 6 month old JT with 4,000 miles that rattles worse than the 170k mile truck I sold after I bought the jeep.

My patience is running out. I may say to heck with it, order some Bilsteins and install them myself but I should not have to buy parts and install them on a vehicle under warranty in this case. If I choose to that’s one thing but my new truck sounds like a jalopy rolling through the neighborhood.

Hey, @JeepCares - my son is a professional graphic designer - he's fantastic with colors, combinations, and has worked on many professional web sites, including creating content for cars.com and more - here's what he has to say about your new 2024 Mojave X interior colors - please pass it along!

Also - please note his last question -

First off, it doesn't look as bad as I was fearing reading the description and then seeing your photos. I can see why there could be a comparison to baby food, but honestly, I'm not seeing it. In dimmer light, it definitely appears more gray, and in sunlight, there is a bit of that olive/army green there. I kind of get what they were going for and in a vacuum I'd say it's "not too bad". The color itself and the orange-ish trim doesn't look too shabby. I kind of dig how "Mojave" looks against it on the seats, for example.

BUT.

The reality is you're trying to appeal to the masses... Jeep masses, sure, but still, more than just a few people. Add to that the fact there are many body color options, and I think your photos in particular highlight my main issue with this color scheme. It just doesn't fit with the vast majority of body colors. It doesn't work with the blue shown there, and it makes the interior look needlessly busy. I see hints of the body blue, the green color, the orange trim, the dark grey panel of the door AND the light gray of the handle. It's just too much, and it doesn't fit.

Sometimes simple works best, and I believe Jeep's audience would likely feel the same, too. The slate/dark gray/black that you mentioned before would be fine. This just frankly feels slapped on, as is, which is not a good look for a special edition. Now...hear me out, if the Jeep itself was rocking an orange type, or army green exterior, this could work. But that's very specific. There's not many pea green/army/green in general schemes for a reason. It just doesn't jive with a lot of things. There's a reason black and gray are used so often, because they are versatile compliments.

The colors themselves aren't terrible in execution, but in this package, it just doesn't work.

Also, can you get me a job with Jeep? :)

This is for suggestions - designs, options, etc. - you may want to start a conversation with them or take it to a new thread..........

I realize that. I sent them a private message and they do t seem to be active or responding, just trying to get ahold of Jeep Cares somehow. I won’t post anymore here to allow this to get back on topic.

so i want to request shocks that don’t clunk as an option.

Keep in mind, they did say they want to hear, not listen or actually fix anything. ?

The amount of engagement by Jeep is pretty incredible to me. I'm coming to Jeep from Nissan and I can count on exactly zero fingers the number of times Nissan engaged with owners at all in 15 years of owning their product. They weren't on owner forums and didn't care at all about any improvements or concerns.

I've never seen a brand even ask these kinds of questions, or even have a presence on forums. Let's remember there are actual people on the other side of the screen and they have certain constraints related to their jobs. I'd hate for the word to be passed that we are not worth the cost Jeep has put into staffing positions with the job of talking to us.
