Silly Question - 37s in Bed?

Apologies...my napkin math says it will work...but...

Has anyone had a 4 set of 37x12.5s in the bed of your gladiator? BFG KO2's, and I just don't know if a tad bigger than the 12.5 (I am assuming so). Will the tailgate close? Going to pick up a set this weekend, and just putting too much thought into

Last weekend I met a guy and picked up a set of 5 mounted 37x12.5r17 and carried them over an hour home. It was tight but they fit and traveled well.

Now I wished I'd taken a picture. We had one flat across the front of the bed, three across, and one flat against the closed tailgate

I just sold a set of 5 37x12.5r18's, packed them in the bed.

You'll need to load the 5th at the front, I was not able to cram 4 side by side at the front of the bed because of the wheel wells. Setting the 4 across at the rear of the bed was the trick. Didn't even need to remove my traction boards at the front of the bed.

the good news is that those 35s will fit a lot easier than all the real 37s out there ?

They’re not a tad wider or a tad taller, quite the opposite actually. Should be an easy fit.

I loaded 5 37" Nitto Ridge grapplers in the bed of my Gladiator. Took them home and mounted them on beadlocks. I used some straps to make sure they didn't bounce out. But they got home just fine.
