3/8" of ground clearance isn't much, but the 2" of tread width gives up a whole bunch of contact patch. I'd be much more confident airing down and wheeling a 35×12.50r17 than a 285/70r18. Contact patch, side wall flex, and even rim protection are all massively better. The 3/8" of ground clearance doesn't even begin to tell the story in the performance difference off road.Everyone says 35s (or 37s!) are the way to go, but I see nothing wrong with something slightly smaller. I went with the 285/70R18 Ridge Grappler. It specs out at 33.98" as compared to the 34.76" diameter of a 35", which means I give up about 3/8" of ground clearance! Looking closer at the specs, while it's an inch narrower, it's also about 15 pounds lighter.
Here you go.....its a real thing LMAOBalance between 33s and 35s sure, but why. 35s fit on the mojave and Rubicon out the box. It's an unneeded in between size which is why you don't see many of them. It's like looking for a 9 pack in the beer isle, just get the 12 pack and be done with it.
9x16 Oz bottles is...144 Oz same as 12x12. It's a reshaped 12 pack.Here you go.....its a real thing LMAO

Well, 35's don't fit so well on a Sport with 3.73 gears and no lift.Balance between 33s and 35s sure, but why.
If it's the auto the 3.73s would work fine, but the clearance could be an issueWell, 35's don't fit so well on a Sport with 3.73 gears and no lift.
