What brand is this one? I think I missed it. Thanks in advance!
See post #74, I asked the same question, no answer yet, don't hold your breath.

I ended up returning the Harbor Freight ladder I purchased, it just didn't have enough length for a lifted JT. It might have worked with some modifications.

Hopefully @40x40 will answer and we can do some more research.

All I did was click on the 10mm socket set link to HF. Two seconds later, I get a HF email. I swallowed the hook and looked at the email. Now I have a Badlands Apex coming in the mail. It's not even the best deal that I have seen. Good grief!

My JTR has a Warn EVO. My Roxor has a Warn M8. My Silverado was asking, since she does most of the work can she have a winch. Got to keep her happy.

hey sd rider and sarge diesel. i went to Batesville AR to see the eclipse. i use a desktop computer so when i'm away i'm really away. post #77 on this thread put the exact link to amazon for my ladder. thank you rude jeepin. i like that it can be installed on the right or left side just by flipping it over. i hold the top of the box when using it. if i felt unstable, i would pickup the handle shadowspapa referenced.

I believe the height and width of a F150 tailgate is more than the Gladiators. I am sure someone with the correct skills could do it though.
If we’re going to hack one up, let’s also buy the new $4K split tailgate from RAM and put into that the JT as well.

There's this one on Amazon.

Thanks! Shame they don't offer the heavy duty one with a grab handle, but I'm sure one can be constructed...or keep a walking stick in the bed. ...off to look for that reference that was referenced. ;)
*EDIT* Found it. Post 53.

I have 37s and just measured driveway to top of tailgate at 42", leaving 3" to spare. Depending on if your 40s are true...you may be at the limit at 45".

Heavy duty one is on the Amazon page:

Item Weight15.4 Pounds

$499 isn't the worst deal either though.

Harbor freight is definitely a big toy store ?

Exactly, but you also have to factor in a safe climbing angle.

This will obviously differ from individual, but that's why I considered the HF model to short. It's max adjustable height is 43-3/8".

Maybe the heavy duty version linked @ 45" would provide the extra length for a safe climbing angle.

I'm sure someone could fab something the help, but so far I haven't found anything out of the box long enough for my liking.

I would not feel comfortable with it at basically a vertical position.

Mine is supposed to arrive Tuesday, so may be installed by the end of the week. Will take pics if I get it installed by the weekend, as I'm on travel after...so wouldn't be until May.
