Straight pipe will be really raspy and way too loud for most people's taste. I chopped the suitcase muffler and rear resonator and it was too much. Added back a Dynomax straight through muffler behind the first resonator and it sounds great. Very affordable option that also saves a bunch of weight.

That what the exhaust shop is recommending and probably what i'll go with.

I installed the flow master fx exhaust on my 2022 Gladiator. I like the sound a lot especially having a manual to help change gears based off motor sound rather than watching rpm gauge. It was a cat back install. I did remove the oem exhaust intact rather than cutting it out incase I needed it for whatever reason. Took about an hour to install it. I also added a rough country cold air intake. Sounds sweet, added a little more power, added a little more clearance, and increased mpg about 1.5mpg. Overall happy with results.

hows the quality of the RC CAI? It looks solid from the pic despite QC complaints about em. Did u run a TB spacer with it as well?

AWE Tread edition dual exhaust. Quality Quality Quantity. Running it for at least a year, still amazed with the sound.

That is the best sounding exhaust I have heard so far... I think better than the borla.

Quality wasn’t bad at all. It is in there solid and despite of what I read the motor definitely gets more air compared to OEM intake. It was missing a piece that mounted the air box to battery box and rough country shipped me out a whole new CAI no questions asked so I have a second filter. I do plan on getting the spacer at some point but i am still under warranty until next year and on the fence if i should just go ahead and get it or wait until my 3 year warranty is up.

I think my only turn away is that I like dry disposable filters. I keep a spare and change after every offroad trip. Seems like that would get expensive with a custom oiled filter. Is there a dry option that fits?

I am a long time customer of Borla, going on my 5th vehicle and 20 years. I love their products and their million mile warranty, while I’ve only had to use it once and in that situation it turned out the exhaust was not the problem, it was a painless process.
I have the single tipped ATAK exhaust on my gladiator now and love it. Of all the ones I heard, Borla was hands down for me. That being said, it’s still the 3.6 so you can’t get away from the “V6-ness”.

Yeah the Borla Attak I saw/heard was dual exit quad tip. So i wasn't sure how the noise would change going to single exit trail dump. I'm also trying to tread the line of sounds like a peppy little truck and fits its look, while not falling into "where TF is this broke boy V6 charger loud ass coming from" or incites every clapped out Honda Civic into attempting to race one of the slowest vehicles on the planet. I just don't want it quieter than a prius, but at the same time i don't wanna fork a grand for a kinda loud V6. If i had no budget I'd just go Borla, but the Shop and thier 170 bucks 2 hour muffler swap seems like the best happy medium. If it sucks, or i don't like it. Oh well it was only 170 bucks.

That I don’t know. But I got the mesh screen that goes around the filter. It is the first defense for particles getting into the filter. I live in Florida so was worried about sand. I figured that will help keep a majority of bigger particles from clogging up the filter. In the past it was really easy to clean than reoil the filters and never had any issues.

we get a lot of mud, dust and rain up here. Oiled filters are a nightmare to deal with. They always came out looking like they had been ran through a port a john.

Don’t sleep on Corsa either. So many options haha. I wish I could hear all these in person but based on my phone/tv speakers, the borla sounds the most refined imo. Corsa sounds like a demon escaping hell lmao
