I used to keep mine under the seat but in an effort to free up bed space I moved some straps and jumper cables and other junk under the seat. I don’t think it fits behind the seat.

Where do you all keep this bag when not in use? I could leave it home but what am I supposed to do when I want to take the panels off when I’m away from home?

For the first year, I used to carry it around with me in the bed and pull over and remove the freedom panels, then stash them in the bed. Then I got the sunrider from BestTop which was a game changer. I run with the sunrider all summer and the freedom panels in the winter. Remove doors and roof on good weather weekends. Enjoy!

Eliminate both the bag and the panels, get a Bestop Sunrider for hardtop, so much easier.

I have a sunrider but I live in Deep South Texas. Last Thursday we had “feels like” of 130°. I use the hell out of my sunrider in the fall and winter. In the summer I want as much insulation between my head and the hellish heat we have down here so I switch back to a full hardtop.

Mine is hanging on the garage wall. I usually take off the drivers panel and put it in the bed. Until I get the sunrider, but $1K is super steep

Pre-Hijacked Thread:
I never did figure out a good place to store it. Too big for the cab, too much dust/dirt in the bed.

Post Hijacked Thread:
I vote for you to buy a sunrider too.
Side Note: I wish Bestop made their Sunriders For Hardtop in body color matching colors. Well at least Sting Gray for me. Looks strange, in my opinion, to have a gray top & black Sunrider area.

However, that might have motivated me to to make a very fun decision. Buy a full soft top. Luckily I don't have to park or travel to places where it's apt to get cut/slashed while unattended. The modular features of a full softop is unmatched.

Small bungee straps hold it to the side of the bed up out of the way and nearly flat against the side.
Glad it was back there as I was making a 60 minute drive without my wife complaining about the wind and noise - and took the panels out shortly after starting that trip.

I never used the bag until storing the panels in my garage after installing the Sunrider. Before the Sunrider, I just put the panels in the back seat without the bags, and wedging a rear floor mat in between the panels to prevent rubbing.

They look to go for around $500 used, at least near me.

If I had the black roof I would worry a lot less than having the painted roof.
So far I have just kept it in the house and taken off the panels at home and left them at home. Putting them back on when I get back home.

I too would love a sunrider top. The wife might convince me to get a full soft top eventually.

Garage for me. Originally went Sunrider and loved it. Back seat passengers (aka kids) then were upset that they weren't in the open air so went full soft top and have never looked back. Don't think I'll buy another hardtop Jeep again. Soft top is just too easy. While Florida heat may not be as oppressive as Texas the soft top handles it all very well.
